Minicap: The Ev3nt

Last night on The Ev3nt, Sean and Vicky chased a pair of lungs, Darth P scrambled to protect his claim to the throne, and Simon and Weasel team up for America!

The episode kicks off with Leila crying over her father’s corpse. She yells at Sophia, and Sophia tells her that she couldn’t have any idea how much MFB meant to her. They realize that the counter agent is gone, and that Simon probably snagged it and is trying to save Mr P, so she calls Darth P to have him put out an APB on Simon.

Sean hacks the rental car database and tracks the car that the lungs ran away in. He and Vicky track the lungs to a mall somewhere in New York. Sean realizes that they’re planning on spreading it through the air circulation system, so he has Vicky evacuate the mall while he runs to the roof and tries to stop the plague spreading device. Vickie catches up with him on the roof and refuses to leave when Sean can’t figure out how to stop the device, so he shoots it, and it stops counting down!!

Simon contacts Weasel, and tells him he can save the P! Weasel finally comes around and trusts Simon again, but Darth P was monitoring Weasel looking for Simon. Weasel notices special forces waiting outside his home, so he calls the cops, and he and Simon slip out in the ensuing confusion. Weasel contacts Mrs P, and tells her to meet him.

Darth P anticipates this move, and goes to Mrs P with the premise that Weasel and Simon are bad. She tells him that she’s meeting them at a warehouse, so Darth P has his satellites watch as Weasel and SImon pull in. He blows the building up with a Predator Drone!!!! He asks for kill confirmation, but when the squad runs in, they find a trap door!!

Back at the hospital, Mrs P brings flowers in to Mr P’s room, and they pull a funny little Ocean’s 11 style flashback to let you viewers know that Simon was in the gift shop and got the antidote to Mrs P, who injects it into Mr P!!

Sophia has a brief meeting with Leila to try to figure out what she’d told Sean, but she’s not talking.

The lung courier managed to get away from the mall, and even though Sean stopped the mall device, she opens it up and kills everyone on the bus. Dr Lu and Sophia are concerned that it’s too fast acting, but Dr Lu tells Sophia that she has a way to morph the disease into something more effective…by infecting a hybrid with it and having the hybrid spread the disease. Thankfully they have one of those on hand…
