Minicap: The Ev3nt

Last Night on The Ev3nt…well, I don’t have any idea really what happened. I mean, I guess I do. It was just a classic penultimate episode, I guess. Gotta set everything up for the big finale.

So, thanks to Simon and Weasel and Mrs P, Mr P gets better, and wakes up eventually. I know you were all very worried.

Sean and Vicky get an address from the bad guy from the mall’s wallet. They head over there, but it appears to be a sweat shop or something, Idunno.

Weasel and SImon meet over a couple of beers, and learn of the “terrorist attack” at the mall. Simon recognizes the bad dude as one of Sophia’s, and they head over to his last know address.

In a perfectly executed comedic moment, Weasel and Simon show up at the same place Sean and Vicky are, and then all magically realize that this IS the bad dude’s place, he just didn’t keep much around. They go through all his things, but can’t find anything that helps them out, but Sean is able to hack into the satellites and track the bad dude from the mall to somewhere new!

Sophia and her people are getting ready for the plaguebringing. They get in position in various areas around the country. Sophia is having some reservations, but ultimately decides that this is necessary to save her people. So by the time that Sean/Vicky and Weasel/Simon show up at their headquarters, only a couple of guards are left, and Leila and Dr Lu.

Doc Lu is trying to put Leila out of her misery, seeing as she’s suffering from the Spanish Flu. Well, Leila doesn’t like this idea, and somehow gets a hand loose from her restraints and DOES SOMETHING. She punches Lu in the face, and then injects her with sleeping drugs.

Sean/Vicky/Simon/Weasel find Lu and Leila. Don’t ask me how they got Lu out of the plastic room that she was in with Leila without them getting infected as well, but they do. Simon threatens to torture the shit out of her with a random power tool that’s lying around, and she gives up the password to her laptop. However, there’s too much info on the laptop, so they can’t figure out what the plan is!

Sean tries to convince Leila that she’ll be ok, and that Shleila will be born again, but she doesn’t believe him.
