DAMN, this was a WEIRD one.  People behaved… kind of maturely?  Stassi and Jax try to be friends, and Jax seems to be committed to winning her back, but taking his time.  Well, he is until he finds out that she had dinner with Frank at Villa Blanca.  After learning that information, he does some soul-searching, gives up the chase, tells Stassi that he DID cheat on her in Vegas and walks out of her life forever.  Literally, he quits his job and tells her he’ll never contact her again.  It’s kind of awesome, and I almost think that while he’s spinning a nice little web about changing his life, he just wanted to wreck Stassi’s so she can’t move on affectively with Frank. 

In other news, there’s a photo shoot at Lisa’s house, the most memorable moment of which is the completely unnecessary Stassi and Scheana make out scene.  You’re welcome tiny handful of confused, 12-year-old boys watching this show.  And my roommate Mike.  Who’s being a total sport, as we speak. 

Major other news?  Laura Leigh booked a goddamn movie with Jennifer Aniston.  No joke.  It’s called “We’re the Millers,” and it is not a figment of her crazy, meth-addled imagination.  I looked it up, and I cannot fucking believe it.  I’m kind of happy for her that she’s riding a crazy train all the way to success, because that’s more than anyone else who stays on this show for more than one season is going to achieve.  The reality stank is hard to shake.  Don’t believe me?  Name me one reality star (not on American Idol) that’s successfully created a sustained film or television career.  And if you can name one, name two, and don’t use IMDB. 

Aaand that’s really it for the season finale.  It was pretty much the Jax and Stassi show the entire time, and this finale was appropriately focused on them.  People better start fighting again, because I can only hate Stassi so much before I get bored and start liking her just for something different to do.  Also, inside track, I met her, and she was super sweet.  I don’t know what the fuck to think!

    I can actually name three reality alum with careers after their RW season. Jacinda Barrett, from RW London, Jaimie Chung from RW San Diego, and Mike the Miz from Back to NY. Mike may not be in movies, but he is featured in WWE. Jacinda was in one of the Bridget Jones movies, and Jiamie Chung was in Hangover 2 and had a her own TV show. I know they’ve been in other stuff, but I’m playing by the rules and not googling, lol.

    Anywhore, I wonder if there will be a season 2 of this crapfest. I’m going to hell, but I hope there is. I want to know what happens with these morons. God, I need a life.

    Sadly there is no season 2! But there is a reunion show next week. For some awful reason I watched WWHL last night and Andy said no on the season 2…

    @Lab Wasn’t it Colleen from season 1? I think it was with Rob Schneider. Didn’t do too well from what I can remember.

    Jacinda Barrett was RW Paris I – and has a movie career

    HOLY CRAP I totally forgot I was watching one of my favorite B movies that nobody’s ever seen, it’s called The Last Supper (Cameron Diaz, the medic dude from ER, and a slew of others) and one of the main cast members is a very thin and young not yet gray John Penner. I had to look twice and then look it up on IMDB, but its him. (this does not fall into the success category BTW)

    And I forgot, Hilary Burton was a MTV VJay that won a contest…was then cast in OTH, and is now on a cable show (white collar?)

    That was some good Pine Valley drama…me thinks she read Miss Andy’s book.

    @Gypsy, I wonder if Jax will be signed on for when AMC goes internet?!?

    I wonder once OTH went all “Musical” on us was just for that fact that Hillary Burton was an MTV VJ. I totally forgot about that. I knew I had seen her before, But that was about the time that I stopped watching MTV..Once they brought on Stephen as Chase, I couldn’t stop watching :) The episode they had Chase the Golf Course I laughed my ass off. The writers totally brought his “Laguna Beach” to OTH. Still sad that is off the air, but it was time!

    I think that just for the fact that LL got a movie, and she was just a back round player says a lot!! I hope that she is still sober, and I hope that she stays sober! I for one am looking forward to the reunion show.

    I thought Stassi had already known about the Vegas dancer…or did he do it again? Is that what I am missing? Jax/Jason is just a lying douche! Hope he falls flat on his face!

    Jax/Jason is a poster child for those (semi) attractive pigs in high school who thought their shit didn’t stink but were really losers. They went after the hot girls and made fun of, took advantage of, belittled and mocked those they deemed less wonderful than them selves. Everybody knew one. Damn him! I was actually feeling sorry for Stassi. I was confused though. I thought he told the therapist he was with the Vegas girl before Stassi but then he told Stassi he cheated on her while they were together. Did anyone get his story straight?

    I wondered if Lisa put out the fake jewels for that photo shoot. If not she’s awfully trusting. Unless she had security measures that we didn’t see.

    @2muchbravo, I believe that Jax had told Stassi et al that the Vegas stripper situation had happened prior to their relationship, which is why the Horsefaces thought and assumed Frank was scheming to get into Stassi’s pants. But Jax lied to everyone, which is why Stassi was so mortified and everyone was caught off guard. I think my only question is why Jax would feel comfortable enough to tell Frank some extremely personal information, but he wouldn’t tell the two Toms. I’m guessing that was producer interference?

    @2muchbravo & @Derek Hazelton I cosign with much of what you are saying but, that’s why I think he was using this as a platform for acting. Not unlike the ending of the Hills when Brody and Kristen walk away and it fades into a Hollywood set…

    I can’t believe I am thinking this much into this but RHOBH was boring this week. Was the C plot to this whole hot mess not that Leeza wanted her entire staff to succeed at their dream professions in Hollywood and, use SUR as a platform and money maker??? Didn’t she even say at one of the staff meetings that she can tell who will make it and who won’t? Look at it like this: In the final episode everything got wrapped up in a neat bow: The raging bitch got vindicated in a plot twist we never saw coming. The down on her luck girl hits it big with an A lister’s movie (which is the one where Aniston got engaged I believe…) And, there was plenty of ‘we’re all gonna make it’ shit going on in the middle with Scheeeeeeeeena and the other singer and the modelling, bands etc.

    Me thinks it was a little too over produced. I also think that’s what there is no second season. That full on fully scripted ‘reality’ if you ask me. VR is the show that jumped the reality shark IMO.

    It has to be a set up as LL had enough evidence to file a hostile work environment lawsuit against Lisa and did nothing. Also, Stassi would have been fired from any other job for not showing up to work, let alone all the other crap she pulls.

    SUR isn’t a new restaurant, it has been there at least 5 years. No clue why Lisa did this show..maybe Stassi made her? Ha. I agree it’s very fake.

    Well, apparently this show took us over two months? I guess Bravo, I guess. The Lies of Jax though are pretty wild stuff. So he did cheat before Stazi? Or during? What did he admit to? Is that part of the Jax mystique? Also, I don’t know if I would publicly create a nickname and try to become a Brav-lebrity using the same name as a cheesy puff brand. You’re making me ask waaaaay too many questions VR

    Jamie Chung has done really well for herself with a smattering of B and C tier movies. She was in the live action “Dragon Ball” movie, “Sucker Punch” and I’ve seen her in ads for an upcoming kung fu movie with Lucy Liu also in it (“Iron Fist something”. None of these have been super huge box office successes, but she’s booking roles and cashing checks and that’s all that is important! I didn’t Google those, by the way.
