irwin01.jpg TVgasm has obtained photos purporting to be the final moments of Steve Irwin and, in fairness, a stingray’s tail. Initially, I had decided not to publish the photos since they are likely fake and I will look the fool, and if they are real, I’ll look like an asshole. Not unlike getting into a fight with a girl scout, no matter who wins, you still lose.

All that aside, it’s a slow news day. So after the jump, please find potentially real, probably photoshopped photo of Steve Irwin and the hero to wild animals, Stingray liberator of wildlife.

    MYL – I think those are the photos I was telling you about at the Happy Hour. They were in the Enquirer a few weeks back and in one sentence in the accompanying article it stated that these are actually drawings of what they imagined any photos of the accident would look like.

    Wouldn’t he have been wearing a wetsuit in the water and not the usual khaki shirt? Just looks weird to me…

    Yeah, lame to sink so low, pun intended.

    The scene was described many times as deeper, and that the ray was mostly hidden in the sand. That thing is well above the bottom.
