Mary-Kate Olsen, AKA the “hot” Olsen Twin, is splitting up the act and going solo for the first time with a role in Showtime’s Weeds.

Mary-Kate, who is 20 (as is Ashley), will portray a devout Christian named Tara in the grown-up series that stars another “Mary hyphenate,” Mary-Louise Parker, as a suburban mom who deals marijuana. Mary-Kate’s character will be a love interest for Hunter Parrish, who plays Parker’s son.Mary-Kate and Ashley made their acting debut at the tender age of 9 months on the sitcom Full House. They went on to make hundreds of millions of dollars in kiddie and “tween” videos and movies like New York Minute (which just missed making Tabloid Baby’s list of the Top 50 movies of all time).

Three years ago, Mary-Kate made international headlines when she underwent treatment for an eating disorder, a condition that led to her sister Ashley being nicknamed “The Fat Olsen Twin.”

Ashley is the hot one, Mary Kate is the Ana one. Unless you’re being sarcastic, never can tell with you

I love how all of the bitchy comments are posted by “Anonymous.” Pussies.

Also? TB was pretty much writing tongue-in-cheek when she pointed out that Ashley is the same age as MK. Also sarcastic in her contention that Ashley is the “fat” one.

Gawd. Adjust your snark-o-meter, you dinks. It gets boring to read your comments and see that YET AGAIN “Anonymous” has failed to grasp the concept of sarcasm.
