Wasn’t Lily Munster already resting in peace? Yvonne De Carlo, who played Lily in one of the greatest sitcoms in television history, has died at age 84 at the Motion Picture & Television facility in suburban Los Angeles. She allegedly succumbed to natural causes, but considering that her death comes less than a year after that of a costar, talk of a Munsters Curse is already spreading…grandpa.jpgConsider this: Less than a year ago, Al Lewis, who played Lily’s father, “Grandpa,” died on February 6, 2006. He was either 83 or 95– although his character was at least 400 years old and had been married several times. (All his wives are dead, though he kept in touch with them.)

Fred Gwynne, who played Herman Munster, died in 1993. He was 66.

Butch Patrick, check your pulse.

(The Munsters, which aired for two years in the 1960s, is a classic sitcom about a family of horror movie monsters who had no idea they were different fron their neighbors. NBC features Munsters episodes in its new Dotcomedy.com broadband site.)

This is the kind of hard-hitting snark that really brought TVGasm to where it is today … keep up the good work. (9_9)
