rue041006We all know that Blanche Devereaux is a raging whore, but who knew Rue too? In a recent article with the Associate Press, former Golden Girl Rue McClanahan boasts that the key to staying young is “weightlifting and frequent sex.” This, of course, begs the question: what’s more disturbing? Rue McClanahan doing the nasty in bed or Rue McClanahan doing squats at Bally’s? Truth is, it’s all quite disgusting, but throw in a little Betty White or Bea Arthur, and we’ve got a different story. Grrrowl.

    Rue clearly does not know the key to staying young. She knows the key to aging without grace, though.

    I remember a Blanche Devereaux trick from many moons ago. Tilt your head down and look in a mirror, not very pleasant. Tilt your head back and look in a mirror, instant facelift. I thought it was so funny. Every time I go in an elevator I look up at the reflective ceiling and mouth to myself “Hello, Gorgeous.”
