Ever get sick about all that old Alias gossip? You know, the stuff about Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and her forehead? Well, great news! We’ve got NEW Alias gossip. Turns out that Victor Garber – aka Jack Bristow – might be happier if Alias reruns were on Bravo, not ABC Family, if you catch my drift. Yes, yours truly just spotted the veteran theater (ahem, theatre) actor shopping at Target of West Hollywood with a young, very effiminate dude worthy of Ian McKellan arm candy status. The happy couple browsed for knicknacks and greeting cards and other Holiday items before navigating the infuriating crapshoot that is the Target checkout area.
Apparently this is not a huge exposé because a) it’s Victor Garber, and b) discussion boards seem to have been buzzing about this for some time. But now we can officially say that the Internet rumors are true. Another TVgasm mystery solved!

As a long-time theater fan (read: dork) and student, Victor Garber’s a well-known gay performer. He does, however, have a strange way of leering about him which seems to confuse….for example, if anyone saw the new Disney TV remake of ‘Annie,’ while he was attempting to emanate paternal love for little red-haired Annie, he instead gave off a quasi-pedophiliac feeling.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Garber all the way, but this odd anomale (Old School? anyone?) is funny.
Thank God! I’ve always thought he was the cutest/hottest thing. Wish I had known him in his Broadway/Godspell days….
Yeah, this is WAY OLD NEWS. I heard this nearly ten years ago.
No wonder he looks so uncomfortable when he gets close to Lena Olin and Isabella Rosellini on the show…I guess its neat that Olin’s character betrayed him so his actual fear is worked into the script….;-)
Well, it wasn’t old news to me. Thanks, b-side. I thought he was hilarious on Will and Grace a few weeks ago. I’m still saying “It’s sinfully delicious!”

It’s a safe bet, if an actor guest starred on “Frasier,” he’s gay. How’s that for a litmus test?
