Hmmm. I am still trying to make sense of this most recent episode of Mob Wives, Gasmii. This week it’s all about the big mob bust that went down this past January, which honestly, was totally off my radar. I had no idea that even happened.

But, I am not sure what the actual theme of the episode was. Last week’s episode was definitely about the wives and how they deal with jailbird husbands. This week looked like it was going to be about the kids.

They focused on AJ and the really cray-cray drama of dealing with a drag queen mom who loves to play it up for the cameras. They focused on Aleeya missing her dad, Lee. Then, they went in a different direction and focused on Karen, which, I guess, technically, she is one of the kids affected by mob life (but then so are Carla and Renee so that was kind of strange). They didn’t do anything to focus on Carla’s kids.

There was a weird truce called between Karen and Renee (which I still think is part of some stealth bitchery on Karen’s part). The truce leaves Carla and Drita feeling like odd women out and kind of pissed.

Renee has another breakdown with her shrink and seems to be trying to break away from the whole mob groupie thing.

But then, next week, it looks like Renee hasn’t completely given up her “Mafier” princess shtick since she calls Junior to deal with some guy in a restaurant – which makes no sense because I thought he was on probation and in jail?

All I can say for sure is that these bitches is crazy! But, don’t worry, I will have it all sorted out and still find a way to totally hate Karen by the time I get you your full recap.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    I think you are right Moli. I also think she could sense that this would be Renee’s most vulnerable moment and therefore the perfect opportunity to get back in her good graces. I just don’t trust Karen – I really don’t.

    The damage done to that poor AJ kid is scary.I am sorry but he reminds me of that poor Anna nicole son.I pray for him

    I haven’t watched all of this epi yet.
    I just saw Renee’s meltdown…
    She really puts her son in a bad place.
    She needs to at least suck it up when she is around him.
    When Drita’s daughter teared up my heart melted for the little bubba.

    I hope the Staten Island Child Protection Services is watching this to save AJ from any more mental abuse at the hands of Renee.

    Why is she bailing out her ex, who currently has a GF and his own residence? Oh, that’s right, maybe she’ll answer that in her therapy sessions she has ten days a week….. or maybe she’ll figure it out after swearing on her son’s eyes…..
