I know, I am totally slack and you guys have every reason to be completely pissed at me. But, I do have an excuse for my slack. I have spent the past few days replaying this episode, trying to wrap my head around the sheer DRAMA of it all. It was so tense and dramatic and AWESOME, and then disappointing.

So, it turns out that I have been pretty spot on all season about this cast. Renee not only lives a life of drama, she relishes the drama of others – too bad she got caught in the middle (literally) when all she wanted to do was sit back and enjoy it for a change.

Here are the things that I was right about:

  1. Lee is a scum bag and Drita can totally do better. So, you remember that small window of time in which Lee was out of Jail and Aleeya developed a close bond with her dad? Turns out that as he was impregnating Drita with their second child, he was taking their FIRST child to meet his mistress at her hair salon.
  2. Karen is a lying, hypocritical, dram stirring skank. After putting it out there that Drita betrayed her by marrying Lee after Karen had already moved to Arizona to have someone else’s kid? We find out that not only had Karen been on again off again with Lee, but she was also cheating on him and get this: one of the guys she cheated with was Drita’s boyfriend.
  3. Renee has perfected the art of tucking. Who knew that in order to tuck effectively, you had to own SPANX/SPANKS ;-) ?
  4. When Drita’s veins start popping, you best get the fuck out of her way.

So, the show had everything, drama, tension, a violent fight. Then, they ended it with a cliff hanger? Who does that on a reality show? Don’t they know that you are supposed to wrap up all loose ends with the final get together? That was just frustrating. I wanted to see what happened after they got kicked out of the restaurant and the cameras kept rolling. Apparently, we have to wait until the reunion to find that out.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    Karen is a terrible, terrible, terrible skanky person! You would have thought all this time that Lee was always the one that got away but turns out she just a big ‘ol hoe that got pissed because someone else got married to one of her conquests.

    And if that story about Drita’s boyfriend is true (Dear Drita, I’m not doubting you – I believe you! Please don’t attack me. Love, Me), then Karen has got some massive cojones to have acted the way she did the whole time. Even bigger than Renee’s.

    And what a bastard is Lee? He’d better watch out because in a fight between him and Drita, my money is on Drita to beat the ever lovin’ crap out of him. Granted, I’ve never seen Lee, but I betting he’s no match to a Pissed Drita. The raccoons thought they had it bad but now they are hoping that there’s some popcorn in the garbage so they can watch the show.

    Drita was smart to talk to a lawyer to get the low down…but she should probably give Lee the heads up before serving the papers – he is still “connected” after all.

    Man! I hate that I was right about Drita needing to drop Lee and move on with her life. I really wanted her to be happy. How funny was it that Renee kept saying she was just going to sit back and enjoy someone else’s drama for a change, only to be smack dab in the middle of a fight? Did you hear her saying “I’m bleeding!” when they finally managed to get Drita off of Karen?

    When was this on? Ahh…I hope my DVR caught it! I’m sure VH1 will run it 100 more times.

    Lee better watch his back. I know we haven’t seen photos of him but I’m going to bet Drita can totally kick his ass!

    So Karen was finally exposed for the scum that we all knew she was all along. That makes me happy!!

    @mere2142 It airs on Sunday at 8pm. But, you are right, VH1 Plays it several more times during the week. And then, after a week the episode is available on their website. Although, since there won’t be any new episodes until the reunion, they may put it on the website earlier than usual.

    I was so confused by the whole Drita/Karen thing. I know we’re not supposed to “argue over timelines,” but I couldn’t make heads or tails out of it.

    @ Plath: is this right? Karen/Lee break up in 1997, Drita/Lee start dating in 1998, Karen cheated on Lee with David aka “BabyDaddy”, Lee moved on with Drita?

    I think that you guys are missing the “bros before hoes” aspect of Karen’s point. Karen was angry that Drita dated Lee after her because they were girlfriends at the time. I certainly would feel some type of way if a friend of mine dated/married/had children with an ex of mine! The difference was that David wasn’t Drita’s ex, but Lee was Karen’s ex. So, while Karen is kind of slutty, she was loyal to her friend Drita, whereas she felt Drita wasn’t loyal to her friendship with Karen, which I can understand.

    I also feel that Drita was looking for a fight after the whole because she was angry that Lee cheated on her. I agree that Karen manufactured hurt for the Lee situation, however, I do believe she was genuinely pissed that Drita left her hanging on the chapter. Coupled with Drita needing to unleash aggression for Lee cheating on her, Karen’s need to be the center of attention, the flowing wine, that fight was bound to happen.

    @Derek Hazelton, I think that if you are going to go the “bros before hoes” route, you should also practice it yourself. Karen cheated on Lee WITH Drita’s boyfriend along with other guys she cheated on Lee with. Her claim that she was so hurt by Drita marrying Lee AFTER Karen had already moved on, is nullified by the fact that she slept with Drita boyfriend while Drita was still with him. Which IMO makes her much more disloyal than Drita was – especially since Drita and Karen weren’t even talking to each other when Drita started hooking up with Lee.

    I do think that Drita had pent up rage because of Lee’s cheating. But, I think more of it had to be that Karen – by minimizing the timeline – was implying that Drita was no better than the hairstylist that Lee cheated on Drita with. At least that was my impression of why the timeline became more and more important to Drita. I think she was genuinely sorry that she did something that hurt Karen. But she started to realize just how much shit Karen had talked about Drita and how now, there was this big revelation about Lee cheating. I think that if Karen had just sat and listened to Drita and let her clear up the timeline so that there was no confusion, Drita would have then told them about finding out about the cheating and it would have become more clear to everyone why the timeline was so important to her. At least, that’s my take on it. But, Karen has this need to instigate in order to show how “real” she is and it just wasn’t the right moment.

    @ Plath, I watched the show really late, so I missed the part where Karen admitted that she cheated with Drita’s boyfriend.

    @Derek Hazelton…she cheated with most of the eastern coastline (shudder)

    So if I am understanding (and I have my doubts that I do) Drita brought up the fact that Karen fucked Drita’s boyfriend because it was a boyfriend that Drita had dated and the Karen fucked him negating the “don’t fuck anyone I have previously dated” code Karen feels should have been a contract signed in blood by all “her girls”.

    Oh how I hate her.

    And AND if Karen would have kept her ass in her seat instead if getting ganstahbitch on Dritra shit would not have gone down.

    Plath I don’t think twitter is my friend TB and I are slowly trying to figure it out but I will be there for the reunion.

    @PlathAddict: The whole reality show cliffhanger thing is often used by The Bad Girls. Season before last they ended the season with the girls beating the crap out of each other.

    I read about the fight in the New York Post. I knew about Renee bleeding. Poor Renee. Did y’all see how Drita got on top and straddled Renee to get to Karen? Could’ve at least let Renee get out of the way.

    Karen is so gosh darn hoish. I just couldn’t believe she’s slept with all these dudes but has the nerve to get all hot and bothered about what Drita does afer she’s gotten knocked up by yet another criminal. I semi-understand the girl code but as mentioned that becomes null and void when you sleep with your girl’s dude. Granted Drita took it to the next level by getting married but she has a right to marry who she wants.

    Plath another shocking/surprising episode. You mean a repeat felon and man that has no problem calling his wife the most vile names that a person would never use towards a woman/wife and mother of his children over his care box is prison is unfaithful.No way how can that be, this must be a first a person involved in such an honorable profession but he would never “Rat”. I do wish better for Dirita and her children but her lack of any empathy for the people her husband has hurt through his many crimes disturbs me.Until it comes to her own betryal. The many crimes he has committed and been convicted for is not even close to the many he has done without be caught. It is a sad reality for her now but she has become one more victim to the husband she has been so loyal to for all these years.I think the part of her I do like for her honesty must have known for years. Now to the fun poor unlikable Karen just when you think she could not find any way to bring up the lee deal she does and I hope she does not believe what she is saying or her kid is better off being state raised.
    One thing for all of Dirita’s tough girl knock a B out , punch through your head not impressed with the hair pulling.The exact thing she says she does not do.Uneventful fight off let me at em.I kill her soon as i push through these thirty guys.VH1 get out the way.Drita is in pain no better place to take it out on is on Karen.karen does not need her face to right the next great American novel.
    I will lose all of the little I do like of her ,If she is back with Lee right when he is out for next season.Plath as always great mini looking forward to the full
