So, we pick up with the last leg of the Sunday Dinner brawl. Drita has been trying to break up the fight between Renee and Carla. Karen says some shit about Drita squaring up and then backing down when she defended Renee. Which totally didn’t happen on screen so WTF EVER Karen.

Anyway the fight goes from screaming and hair pulling to crying and hugging. Karen goes on the “my ex-boyfriend” thing again. Drita says that when Karen came to her house she said they were fine and Karen says they were but she is still really hurt and she starts crying. I call so much bullshit on that whole thing but Drita is a better person than I am.

Drita feels bad and apologizes for hurting Karen. Now the women all love each other again. These bitches are exhausting!

Karina comes to visit. And Karen talks about how excited she is, but we don’t see it. Karen suggests Renee try online dating. Renee and Drita set up a profile and have fun with it for a little while. Renee decides that it’s too stressful and not private enough for her. And deletes the profile – mainly because she still has the hots for Junior.

Drita sends the photos and is trying to make her marriage work for the sake of her kids. Has anyone else noticed that while Drita wears a wedding ring on the show she doesn’t have one on during her interviews? Are they still together? Anyway, Lee is pretty gross and a scumbag so I hope she realizes she can do better.

Carla is trying to help Joe get ready to come back from prison and is looking forward to not having to raise her children anymore. Karen is looking for a new storyline now that she can’t lord the “my ex-boyfriend” thing over Drita anymore.

Renee claims that she wants something different from what she has been attracting, but we know that is bullshit.

Next week, Renee talks about getting back together with Junior.

Karen is trying to be Oprah about Renee’s hook up, because she is a douche and she needs to stay relevant.

There is a lot to discuss with this episode and I plan to do just that in the full recap. In the meantime, tell me what you thought of the episode.

Do you think the peace will last? Do you think Karen will behave like a decent human being now that she conned an apology out of Drita? Will Carla wake up from her coma once Joe returns and becomes the babysitter?

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    Honestly, I thought it was kind of boring. Last week’s fight was good and I had big hopes for this week’s, but I was disappointed. The disappointment probably stems from 1) Karen having the stop the whole thing so she could provide a recap even though she had no dog in this fight and 2) Karen turning it back around to this “Lee feud” with my girl Drita. Back off, Karen! I’m grateful to her only in the aspect that her book is the reason for this show…but can’t she just be happy with a “Created by” credit and stay off my TV?

    @Chicken Lips, don’t even get me started on the suck-i-tude that was Karen in this episode! Her BS about Drita squaring up and backing down got my blood boiling before anything had even begun to happen. Drita would have wiped the floor with her. Except Drita still thinks that Karen is her friend. I hate Karen so much. I know we need her for the sake of keeping drama, but damn I want someone to punch her in the neck!

    Plath where does the show go from here.The major problem has been solved and karen needs a new cause.Drita could have at least brought up the book to lee again for laughs or ordered up a gift basket.The show is soul sucking maybe when joe gets home to parent the kids was a great line.The show could have the one son be a focus that might help.I am sure he father being gone and him always being around girls is the cause of all his problems and soon as his father gets out of the joint all will be fine.I am sure joe was a great Pop when he was stealing peoples life saving so he could drive a hummer could teach a kid about life.
    Great recap as always but they are not giving you much to work with.maybe season 2 they will really hit the mark.When is lee getting out that is a fun topic

    Plath – I was thinking the exact same thing about Karen v. Drita! Karen is the Queen of the Deluded if she thought that Drita was afraid of her. Seriously? Thanks for creating drama out of absolutely nothing, Karen. If Drita was afraid of you, it was because she thought you were gonna leave drug residue on her and send her up the river because then who would take care of the girls?

    I love Drita, she is smart and stands up for herself and her family. I still don’t think she owed Karen anything, but it was a good storyline for awhile.

    I want to see Renee and Caroline Manzo square off in a fight. How about Drrita mopping the floor with Theresa Giudice?

    I can’t wait for the reunion of this show! I hope Drita whips Karen’s @$$ all over that set after she watches this season & Karen’s interviews! It’s gonna be great!

    A little birdie (Dee Internets) told me that Drita finally put the beats on Karen…during the finale! They were at a hotel and things get physical and out favorite drag queen, Renee, threw herself into the fray (and in front of the cameras), and ended up bleeding from a leg wound.

    This sounds like a finale too remember!! Only thing, I hear that the production is thinking about not showing it which seems likely since we haven’t seen it the previews. I’ll be terribly disappointed if they choose to edit out a Drita/Karen showdown.

    @someguy, I think the next round of drama is going to come from Renee and Junior. Also, since Joe is getting out, we will probably see something happening there. @Chicken Lips, I totally agree. Karen is such a freaking tool! @Anne, I think Caroline and Teresa would crap their respective pants if they went up against the likes of Renee and Drita.
    @Brattygrl, I hope they do have a reunion. That would be hilarious for Drita to actually see what Karen has been saying about her. @sarcasatire, you are the best private detective on the internet! I hope really hope that if this did happen, they show it. Lord knows they need some extra brawling to keep the show interesting!

    I’m glad they made up…

    “Boop! Put a stamp on that bitch” cracked. me .up! I think Theresa could more than hold her won with these wimmen. She looks really, really stong..and she’s from Patterson lest you forget.

    Off to read your Basketball Wives recap.
