You guys, Jennifer G totally reads my recaps! Remember that rant I went on last week about acting as though the hurricane never happened? Guess what, this week we actually get spliced in footage of the city’s actual state post Sandy. Now, if I could just get her to reconsider CousinSuckUp, things would really start looking up.

In other news, Drita’s stock is starting to plummet for me as not only is she totally taking Lee back, she also wants to support him using her Mob Wives money. Oh, Drita. My how the mighty have fallen. It was definitely an up and down episode for me, so let’s dive in so that you guys can share your thoughts.

We open with Drita and Renee meeting for lunch. Drita is over the moon about Lee being out of jail and at the halfway house. She says that they are like two teenagers in love. Renee, who has no self esteem at all when it comes to men, is totally onboard with Drita taking him back. So what if he cheated and committed felonies? So what if her girls are devastated if things don’t work out? Renee thinks Drita is doing the right thing. I think it’s ridiculous for anyone to take relationship advice from Renee. But, what do I know? I’ve never been in a relationship with a cheating felon before, so I totally have no leg to stand on.

Carla checks in with Big Ang(Yay!) at the Drunken Monkey. She talks about how her meeting with Dumb and Dumber went. She thinks it went well – of course she had yet to see Rokell’s(?) talking head. Ang wants to invite all of the women to her annual holiday party. Carla is hesitant since only Drita and Ang are speaking to her. She is mystified as to why Love would have a problem with her because she has never met the woman. She tells Ang that she can be cordial. She will be uncomfortable because the other women aren’t speaking to her, but she will support Big Ang(Yay!). Ang says that Renee is a completely different person post rehab and doesn’t want anymore drama. I give Ang the side eye as we know there is no such thing as a Drag Queen who hates drama – it’s like a cat mating with a goat – just plain unnatural.

Karen and Love are at the store and Karen talks about how she plans to confront Dave in Arizona. She is still jealous, I mean pissed about Dave’s girlfriend. She thinks he was way too nonchalant about having a girlfriend and I guess she wants to tell him that in person? It makes no sense to me. I mean if she wanted to confront him about introducing Karina to the woman before getting Karen’s approval, I would understand. Even, if she wanted to confront him about Karina’s wish to stay in Arizona, I would get it. But, she seems to be focused on the fact that he didn’t tell her he had a girlfriend. Anyway, Storm (the guy Karen awkwardly flirted with on camera last week), calls and Karen is all giggly and awkward as they make plans for dinner. She is kind of confused about whether or not this is a real date or a business meeting. For someone who pretends to have so much swagger and confidence, Karen is really really bad at dating.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

    I just have to point out – If CSU’s boyfriend is in so much danger that he has to have an armed guard if he gets out on bail — Why would you put your children in danger?? Ridonkulous!! Also, I heard that Karen had the nerve to tweet that Big Ang (of all people) is a RAT. I’m so curious to what that is about.

    I still have hope for Drita, but I was thrown when she said she wants to take care of him. She should just buy him some shoes and send him on his way, like Carla did Joe. I really think she feels like she has to give it a shot for her kids.
    CSU is beyond stupid. I didn’t like agreeing with Karen also. I really wish Love had a better storyline because maybe we wouldn’t have to watch this CSU foolishness.

    @featherhead, When did Karen tweet that about Big Ang? I’ve been off my game as far as stalking these bitches.

    @labowner, I’m still on the fence about Love. I do prefer her talking to her brainwashed exes to bitching about someone she has never met though.

    @KeKe I was also thrown by that. I also think she should have taken Carla’s approach to Joe. At the very least he could find his footing as a legitimately employed guy while she puts the money away for her kids’ future and education. You just know she is going to spoil him, he is going to feel like he should be the breadwinner, and he will probably end up back in jail for robbery or something else.

    The voice on that guy Love was talking to on the phone – SERIAL KILLER! And she was missing him and crying…Oh Lord I want to see her with a boyfriend this season.

    I share your profound disappointment in Drita, PA. Ok, she’s buying him a car – ridiculous but fine… What bugs me is that she’s getting new tits for him too! Who the f cares what he thinks about her tits?? He just got out! I can’t believe she’d go under the knife for him.

    @JulieSF, I think she has already gone under the knife for him. Her first set of implants had to come from Lee since she had nothing when she married him. I think the fixing is because one of them shifted or had some other issue and now she has a “jacked tit” and wants to look exactly the way she looked prior to Lee going to prison. I read a double meaning (pun intended) into everything she says now ever since she first blurted the words, “sleeping with the enemy.”

    It’s incredibly judgmental and bitchy of me, I admit. But, judgmental bitchiness is pretty much going to be my ultimate legacy to this world.

    Plath and Feather – I actually read Karen’s twitter account and her Fan account and there was nothing said (since beg of Feb that I could see) about Big Ang except saying sometimes good things do fall off trucks. Tweets can be removed so who knows.

    @PA and Labowner – my friend saw the tweet (I don’t follow twitter) and told me that Karen tweeted it and then deleted it but Jennifer G took a screen shot of it. I’ll ask her tomorrow if she read anything else about it. She is a Big Ang fan too.

    I’m starting to not care much for this show – I wish I knew why. I can’t put my finger on it.

    I do have a question though – I’ve been to NY once. I know I was in the Bronx, I was in Queens and I was in Manhattan (there were too many people and my \oh my god get me away from all these people!\ kicked in and I had to get out of there…anyway), but I was also in Bayonne, New Jersey. Now, one of the freeway signs they showed while CSU was inviting Karen to see her ill gotten gains, I mean engagement ring, made it look like she was taking the Bayonne Bridge. Is that a bridge that takes you to and from Bayonne, NJ from Staten Island? Was she hiding, I mean storing for safekeeping, her ill…ring in NJ or does she live in NJ? Either way, isn’t New Jersey a dirty word to people in New York? Is that another one of CSU’s dirty little secrets – she’s some hood rat from Jersey?

    I thought it was hilarious that Karen kept yapping about going to Arizona to pop a cap in Dave’s ass (or whatever she was going to do – she always makes everything she does sound like she’s auditioning to join someone’s crew), but she never once mentioned getting to see her daughter. What a fame whore. I hope her kid runs far and runs fast.

    I’m bummed by Drita taking Lee back, but do see her point that she wants to let her kids know she did the best she could to keep their family together. I tried to keep my little Yeknom’s bio dad involved, but finally saw that I couldn’t force him to be a parent & gave up. Life has been much better since. I only hope Lee doesn’t completely hurt Drita and the kids.

    I think Carla thinks the meeting went well because she honestly doesn’t care what Racqell thinks about her. I wouldn’t be surprised if Racquel was all nice and ass kissy to Carla’s face and all her hard talk was saved for when Carla wasn’t around. She looks the type of girl who does that.

    I LOVE Drita and Ang together. I think Ang is more open about joking about sex with Drita because of their chemistry together. That or Neil just gave it to her good and she’s on a post-coital glow.

    Love. I just cant decide if I like her or not. There is something about her that just doesnt sit right. I cant say it’s the crazy in her, because I love some crazies.

    CSU. What an Ass. Hole. I rolled y eyes so hard that they fell out of their sockets when she said she was happy that the ring was big. What an asshole thing to say.

    I felt the same way. I actually agreed with Karen. And then! Then….Karen makes me laugh. At the party when she asked CSU if anyone told her she acts like a dick, made my night. I laughed and then cried at the wrongness of Karen making me smile.

    @Featherhead, you are so right! If your fiancé is in that much trouble…why marry your kids into that?? I wanna know why Karen called Big Ang a Rat. And I want to see Big Ang beat Karen.

    @labowner – I bet that “Janine Detore” is Big Ang’s sister, the one where Ang used her house and had a party for the girls in Season 1.

    Feather there were a couple people asking Carla about it but most of her tweets are talking about her soap line, kid stuff etc.

    That tweet from Big Ang is from the 4th, so I am assuming whatever happened BigAng knows and doesn’t seem to care. That is why I am wondering if JenG is creating fake drama like she has done between Ramona and Drita, Love and Drita, Carla and Love and Renee and Carla.

    @Labowner and Featherhead, Jennifer G is TOTALLY trying to stir up drama for next season. If I ever had any doubt about how manufactured story lines for reality shows are, I need look no further than last season’s reunion. When Karen and Drita both called Jennifer out about what she told them prior to filming, I knew that she was a MASTER shit stirrer and would basically wind these women up and watch them dance for our amusement. I have to admit though, at the time I thought it was genius! Now, I feel very jaded and unsure of what I’m watching. @ChickenLips, that may be the thing that is causing you to become disenchanted with the show too. What seemed genius last season, is old hat this season and is now very obvious.

    And since none of these women can stay off Twitter, we seem to be getting even more behind-the-scenes details. It’s like sitting too close to the stage at the ballet. If you see all of the muscle effort and strain involved in the moves, the magic is gone and the dancing doesn’t seem as effortless and organic.

    As for the signs and whether or not CSU lives in Jersey, I honestly don’t know the area enough to be sure. I totally wouldn’t be surprised to find out that CSU was a (wannabe) Jersey hoodrat though. The thing is, the people I know from Jersey are very proud of the fact that it’s where they’re from. So, it could be that the Safety Deposit box was in Jersey and CSU is actually living in Staten Island. Or, it could be that every instinct that we have about CSU’s fakeness is correct. I also noticed that there was no mention of Karina during Karen’s umpteenth rant about Dave.

    Methinks Karen was sprung (to use an early 90′s expression) on Dave’s “Loaf of Bread,” and when she hit that last season, she was expecting him to pine over her and was disappointed to hear that he moved on.

    @yeknom, I’m glad you were able to see what was best for you and your kids and let the ex go. As for the Drita/Lee situation, I hope that this is just the honeymoon period for Drita so that she can get it out of her system and move on. I just hope she sees it before moving him back into the house. That would at least minimize the damage done to the kids.

    I also love Drita and Ang together, they have kind of a “Lavern and Shirley meets Sex in the City meets Love and Hip Hop” quality that would make for good TV if done correctly. I have my fingers crossed for a spinoff, but am not sure if Jennifer G would be the right choice for producing/directing the show.

    As for Love? The reason I go back and forth on her is because, while I love me some crazies (Renee and Drita were my favorites for the fist to seasons because Renee was batshit certifiable, and Drita was so freaking funny and real), I can’t tell if she is genuinely crazy or playing up the crazy for the cameras. The way she talks about attempting to murder her exes compared to the way she has such a huge beef with someone she has never met, makes me wonder whether or not she is real.

    The reason that I loved Renee, in the beginning, was because of how she owned the fact that she was a crazy drama queen. The reason I loved Drita was because she was just plain Berzerker when it came to being willing to get into a fight regardless of the fact that she had two daughters, and was too old to be brawling. But now, Renee is blaming everyone for her addiction and for her past behaviors, while Drita is willing to let some guy that hurt her and her girls walk back into her life. The Mob Wives world is topsy-turvy for me right now. Now here Love is with her genuine and not-so-genuine behavior, and I have no idea which one is the real her.

    I’m also back & forth about Love. I have mentioned (several times…sorry!) that I’ve seen her before on Investigation Discovery shows. I agree, I like the realness, but she’s too braggy….also, she’s like 40… Beating bitches asses isn’t cool! You’re not 16 anymore, grow up! It gets old quick when she’s threatening peeps (Carla) for no reason. We get it. You’re tough. No one should mess with Love Majewski. Blah, sick of it!

    Also, what about calling JenniferG. JustJenn?? As in JustJenn Productions!! (Aka Let’s exploit my sister’s cray cray productions!)
