Mob Wives Recap: Things Fall Apart

By PlathAddict | | 10:00 pm | 47 Comments

Drita and Carla go dancing to meet guys. Drita has no game and hasn’t really outgrown the days of hitting a guy to show that you liked him.

It’s totally Drita and kind of cute in a disturbing way. Then one of the guys tells her that he knows Lee and it’s like someone pulled a needle across a record. She does one more shot and is out.

CousinSuckUp tries to claim a relationship with Big Ang (yay!) as she and Karen listen to stories of the good old days. I would like to point out that even when hanging with Big Ang, these two can’t contain their BitchFaces:

Big Ang says that her uncle was really good friends with Karen’s dad. Then, as an after thought, she says to CousinSuckUp, “your grandfather too.” Big Ang talks about when her mom would sneak in food and vodka to her jailed uncle. She would sneak it in under her boobs. Which, totally explains why Big Ang went so BIG with the boobs. She has been visiting people in jail since she was 10.

Anyway, she says that her days of visiting guys in prison are done. CousinSuckUp tries to save face by saying something about it being different if it’s someone you care about.

Big Ang awesomely shuts her down by saying “I was a convict!” She says it’s completely different if you’ve been through it yourself. She says the day she got busted was the day that she was biggest loser of her life. Then, she tells this hilarious story about how one of her girlfriends wore a wire and the cops made Big Ang listen to the tapes and she could hear herself peeing and how gross it was.

I fucking LOVE this woman.

Renee and Junior talk about his pending jail sentence. She has another mini-breakdown where she confesses how she feels like he doesn’t love her because he is so distant. She talks about how she is afraid to lose him and be alone. And that bastard has the nerve to sit there and blame her attitude for his distance.

This is the thing that has really been pissing me off about the whole Junior thing. He is constantly making her beg for the slightest bit of affection. He knows just how badly he is betraying her and he still blames her insecurities and trust issues on her. Look, we all know that Renee is a hot drag queen mess. That’s obvious, but what’s even more obvious is how much she can sense something is wrong. Yes, she has been manifesting it as paranoia about his cheating, but she really isn’t that far off and he probably IS cheating with another woman at this point too. Anyway, he lies and says that he will always be there for her.

Drita and Big Ang (Yay!) are at Big Ang’s favorite deli. Drita is talking about about how young the guys were at the bar and how she has absolutely no swagger when it comes to meeting guys. She talks about getting played by Lee. Big Ang talks about her current husband. She met him at the Drunken Monkey and she tought he was cute. Now, she calls him a cheating, sneaking stay out all out drunk. And describes her marriage as a disster. She says that she threw him out 7 months ago and told him to be a man and take some responsibility. Drita wants to know if he was always like that and Big Ang awesomely says “yeah, I guess he was.” See, Big Ang gets it. These women married guys who cheated and were criminals. Nothing that they have gone through or are currently going through should be a surprise. Why is she the only one who gets it?

Big Ang wants a man that will take care of her. She does not do the whole going Dutch thing. Drita talks about going speed dating with Carla because she wants a regular guy. Big Ang says that you just can’t go from a street guy to a regular guy. It won’t work. They talk some more about Big Ang’s husband and she says that he’s 38 and she guess he never really grew up. Drita, after hearing his age, calls Big Ang Gangsta (of course she is, she’s Big Ang). Then she says that Big Ang’s husband is older than her husband and she just love Big Ang – and that is just one more reason I will always be Team Drita. Their relationship seems much more real and friendly. Karen and CousinSuckUp seemed like they were waiting for Big Ang to bestow some sort of recognition on them based on family ties, while Drita is just haning out with her and having fun the way friends interact.

Here’s Renee and CousinSuckUp having lunch. I’m writing this up really quick so I am going to try my best to convey the tone of this scene. Renee talks about how stressed she is with Junior – and if you get the chance to watch this again, I want you to pay close attention to CousinSuckUp’s facial expressions. She has the look of someone who isn’t really interested in what she is hearing but is putting in the time so that she will have the chance to talk. There are also times when she looks at Renee as though she is totally disgusted with her.

Anyway, as CousinSuckUp is making all of these faces that alternate between bored and bitch, Renee explains that Junior is being really distant because of his pending jail sentence. She still isn’t speaking with her father because of the show. But at least Junior and her father still have a good relationship. God Gasmii, POOR RENEE! Meanwhile, CousinSuckUp looks at Renee like this:

Renee is crying in her interview about how glad she is that at least AJ still has a good relationship with her parents. CousinSuckUp talks about her kids not having their dad – do to her leaving him and how they don’t have a relationship with her dad because she married the man she did.

But, I’m still not interested in her life even if it sheds backstory on what makes her so uninteresting and awful.

Carla and Joe go out to dinner and Carla tells him that she wants him to come to the parent/teacher meeting for the kids.

She tells him about her and Drita going speed dating. Joe seems to know an awful lot about speed dating for someone who has been in jail for 6 years. He’s very supportive but they are also kind of flirty. I can definitely see how they got together in the first place. But, if he is as big a cheater as Carla said he was, them getting together would be a REALLY bad idea. Especially if you consider what it would put the kids through. It would be Renee and Junior all over again with out the wearing a wire (hopefully).

Renee wakes up depressed. She can’t even make herself get out of bed. She thinks about the conversation she ahd with Junior and ruminates over the fact that he didn’t kiss her goodbye when he went to check in with his parole officer that morning.

We see closeups of past wedding and family photos and you can truly see how much of a toll her relationship with Junior and just being in this life has taken on her appearance. She says that Junior should have been home by now. She sees that he left her a letter on the night stand. It says something about being charged with armed robbery and turning himself in. She lights a smoke on the stove and calls Nikole. She starts making calls trying to find out where he would have even gone to turn himself in. He isn’t using the lawyer she hired for him after the bust, and no one has any info. She is devestated and trying to find something she can control. She reads parts of the letter and talks about how this is an entirely different charge than the one he was originally charged with.

She is still blaming herself for this and I hate him that much more for doing this to her. I know, she signed up for this, but DAMN! That shit is so wrong and Renee is really shaken by him saying he hopes she finds someone better than him. She says that she is wanting to wait for him even if it’s 20 years. She is in denial so hard about what is going on. She is at a point where she can’t even cry because she is at least happy about the fact that he can’t cheat on her while he is in jail. Oh, Renee. Poor, poor Renee.

Drita and Carla go speed dating. This is a fireman themed speed dating event.

She’s really cute by being so nervous. The first guy is cute but engaged? Then there are two really good looking guys. She tells them that she doesn’t want to do the long distance thing because it’s no different than being with a guy in prison, and the look on their faces is kind of priceless.

They both visibly swallowed in reaction. The next guy is all get your shit finalized and lets press fast forward – which, no.

The reality is that Drita is not used to the types of men who get up and work regular jobs. Even if that job is saving people’s lives while looking pretty for theme calendars. I just hope this doesn’t mean that she is going to backslide and run back to Lee.

So, Karen shows up at Renee’s house sometime that night. Renee tells Karen about what Junior said in the letter. Karen’s boobs express shock. She can smell something is up. So, I will give her that bit of common sense even if she doesn’t want to say it. Renee starts freaking about having nothing left and is pulling out her groceries for some reason.

Karen gives a few lame platitudes about how Renee can’t fall apart now. Renee needs Drita and Carla and possibly Big Ang right now, but for some reason she chose one of the people who manages to wind her up rather than calm her down. Karen pulls the “don’t let the feds win” card and Rneee has a moment of clarity. She says that she doesn’t blame the federal government, because that’s their fucking job. And, the look Karen gives her is so Classic Karen BitchFace number 93. The one that says, “Bitch, I am supposed to be the voice of reason here, not you. So, go back to being irrational and let me sell my book.”

Nikole comes over and Karen starts explaining. Renee just wants to find out where he is. She calls the prison. She starts out polite saying that she has his registration number and he turned himself in and she wants to find out where he is. The operator is just as polite as any civil servant when she says “No, ma’am.” Apparently, the database records aren’t updated until after midnight and she tells Renee she has to call back then.

That leads to Renee telling the operator to go fuck her self and calling her a twat. I didn’t know that they bleeped out the word “twat” on TV. Interesting.

Anyway, Nikole calls now and the operator isn’t fooled and asked if it’s the same woman who just called. Nikole assures her that she isn’t. She gives Junior’s last name and the woman immediately replies, “Hector?” and after a confirmation, she puts them on hold. All of the women are sitting there shocked now. The operator comes back and asks if she is speaking to the sister, the wife, the what… and Nikole says the wife. The operator puts them on hold again. And wouldn’t you know it? In walks AJ and his girlfriend. Renee tries to call to him by saying, “you know I love you right?” AJ, who is way too wise for someone his age, knows some shit is up and takes his girlfriend upstairs.
The operator comes back on to say that Junior is being processed.

Nikole says that his son wants to see him and wants to know if he can come visit him the next day. The operator says no but that she can see him and he is ok, but she can’t tell her anymore than that. Renee gets physically sick from this.

Karen enables Renee’s dramatics and Renee breaks down even more.

Renee is still in the mode of making the phone calls to get more information after Karen and Nikole leave. It’s the only means of control she really has. She calls her cousin.

She tells them what she has done so far. She knows he is in the southern district. She wants to know if he would be arraigned the next day. She starts hearing commotion over the phone. She goes into a screaming fit when she realizes that it’s the police taking her father away. She is having a full on breakdown and this shit is almost impossible to watch. She is dry heaving and barely standing. It’s awful and painful and everything you would think and if I didn’t have to recap it, I would have changed the channel from the discomfort it’s caused me.

Next week, everyone reels from the fact that Junior was flipped by the feds.

That was definitely the most difficult episode of this show that I have ever had to recap. So, hopefully you guys can cheer me up in the comments. I am definitely looking forward to it.

If there were ever a situation where in which I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, cheese would win hands down. I spend my days writing blog posts for the multi-housing industry and my nights harshly judging people who appear on reality shows. If there is the odd weekend in which I am not working, or feeling smugly satisfied about my lack of my own reality show, I will build a blog for my friends. Then, I will spend the rest of my weekend conning other friends, family members, and general acquaintances to donate their talents to help out. I am shameless in my love of free stuff, blue humor, and great or even terrible fiction. I tell my friends that I watch reality shows to feel better about myself. In actuality, I watch them because I am vastly entertained by the things people will do to be famous. When Flipit asked me to join the TVGasm family, I was honored. When he said that I would be paid in Cheetos and M&M's, I was totally in.

I’m surprised Karen didn’t bring her little dog CSU with her to revel in Renee’s misery which is what those two do best.

My heart broke for poor Renee – yes I realize she has don’t nothing to free herself from the life of crime, but that’s her life and she’s trying to make the best of it. I thought she was going to pass out right then and there when she was on the phone with her cousin. I feel bad for her that her father was POed at her about the show – was he equally pissed at his other daughter that is the producer or creator of the show, or is he just pissed that she because friend’s with the rat’s kid again? She looked pretty decent on the sit down show, though she’s probably heavily medicated. AJ was with her – he seems like a good egg.

I thought that Drita was surprised that Big Ang was married, but sometimes I can’t understand what they are saying when they talk fast with their accents. What a fool Mr. Big Ang is – I want to marry her since she’s awesome and would cook for me and she’s awesome. I think he was looking for a sugar momma and thought “Bingo!” when he saw her. At least she realizes what a bat rastard he is and even though she may be trying to work it out (per the aftershow), I don’t think she’ll be like Renee in her deal with Jooonyah.

Carla and Joe are cute together – they don’t seem to be dysfunctional…or maybe they are better at hiding their shit from the cameras than the rest of them.

Go Drita – you get out there girl! Find yourself a nice accountant from EY or Deloitte or something. Hell, date a fireman – but probably not one that’s in a calendar because didn’t you see I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry? All of his “lady friends” that hit that because he was in a calendar will come forward when he is trying to justify his gay marriage to his buddy. Whoa – where the hell did that come from – eh it’s early yet for me.

Anyhoo Dreets – find a nice normal guy that will be good to you and can take a hit. Although you’ll probably want to stop being them up at some point.

sigh – sorry for the typos. Renee has *done* nothing and she *became friends* with the rat’s kid again.

I don’t apologize for the I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry reference because what better time to drop something like that than when a show uses fireman calendar boys for speed dating? It’s like that movie was made specifically for this situation. =)

Karen and SuckUp are the worst human.beings.ever. How can someone fail at being a species?

    Ugh.

Poor Renee, my heart totally went out to her when she lost her shit as her dad started getting arrested. I would have lost my mind as well, and it had to be harder for her because she wasn’t there to protect him, if you will. And her man is a fucking roach for leading her ass on only to get info on her family so he can save his own ass. I’m not about breaking the law, but selling your wife’s family down the river so you can cut a break makes you a low life, you and your scarred ass face you Mustafa from the Lion King looking bastard.
Drita and Carla shoulda been there for Renee, but she’s so lost in her depression I don’t think she can see past it to know who her true friends are.
I thought it was funny and adorable that Drita was punching guys in the club, that had me rolling. How cute is that? Well, not for the guy getting punched.

Next week is going to be a clusterfuck disaster :( poor Renee.

I had read in US Weekly hours before watching the show what happened with the Renee/Renee’s Dad/Junior situation so I think it made this a little less shocking but no less difficult watching her breakdown.

Did anyone see the after show? Big Ange said her and the husband are back together and he’s no longer cheating and staying out but she still doesn’t seem happy to be married to him! She also talked about the plastic surgery she still wants to get.

Should we start a collection to rent a bus and go hang with Big Ange at the Drunken Money?

I dug up some dirt on CSU from another message board, I don’t know how to link so I hope this is okay.

It’s a bit scary but there are sites where you can enter a name and location and find their information (address, phone numbers and even photos of homes in some results *shudder*). Carla’s age is listed as 45. Big Ang is 51, Karen & Ramona are 40, Renee is 42 and Drita is 36.

Found this on another website regarding Ramona, we already knew about the boyfriend:

    Quote

“I wrote this on Mobwives Blogspot, but they deleted the post which proves it is not an open discussion. Ramona Rizzo is a liar, she claims she left her husband because he joined the mob, which is not true because her husband is Arabic, she left him because he went bankrupt. On the show, she says she avoids the mob men like the plague, but she is dating a wiseguy cocaine dealer by the name of Joseph Scalfini. This woman has no principles everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie. Also in her VH1 Biography she claims that she couldn’t leave the middle east because of her husband that he wouldn’t let her, but the truth is her husband moved to another country and she was there with her kids receiving money from him through wires for the last year and a half that she was in jordan. She was free to go and he begged her to leave back to the states. These people should not be celebrated, they should be shunned.”

It goes on to say that the man she married robbed her father (didn’t she try to comiserate with Renee by saying her father doesn’t speak to her either?), had 4 children with him and eventually cheated on him. Apparently, she moved in with her boyfriend that got arrested during taping after only two months. Source. YMMV and all that, but Ramona strikes me as a liar, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she lied to Renee and went through all the histrionics in the Poconos about her not talking shit about Junior to show how “loyal” she was.

Plath in all of that you didn’t notice the change of Renee’s nail polish and how the first part of the letter scene was re-shot?

Is AJ still with that girl, because if I were her, I would be running for the hills. No way I would want anything to do with that family.

I would to hear the conversation between Renee and her sister about that scene.

Carla and Joe are so damn cute together. Too bad he is such an ass. Is he younger than Carla?

I love how the woman Big Ang is talking to about Junior wants to give him the benefit before they label him a rat. Big Ang knows the story and I am wondering if Ramona didn’t know something was going on and thus the faces when having lunch with Renee.

Again I will ask, where were Big Ang, Carla and Drita when their friend needed her the most?

I know it was tough to recap because I assume you had to watch it more than once. I actually had to stop watching for a while because I knew what was happening. Couldn’t Junior have made those three months they were together the happiest three months of Renee’s life rather than let her think that all of this was her fault and her insecurities. I felt so bad for her.

Drita is one of those girls that has a type and can only see herself with they TYPE. It’s like those who like Police officers, athletes, pastors, or crooks. Once you are set in a lifestyle it’s hard to deviate from it. I hope that she is able to open her eyes and find someone that goes to work but maybe doesn’t have the strict schedule of a 9-5. Like a salesmen or something like that.

Joe is pretty handsome so I can see why Carla is flirty flirty with him.

I can’t stand CSU. I am sure it’s inappropriate to yell names at the tv, but I do it anyway.

I think that Karen knew what was going on when Renee started telling her about the letter, there was a bit of recognition in her eyes. She probably remembered what things were like when her dad got flipped and started putting 2 and 2 together. I do think that it’s weird that Renee didn’t call Big Ang, Carla or Drita. But, I also think that she didn’t call them because she believes CSU and Karen when they called Drita a liar and she was still mad at Carla for telling Drita about the Poconos.

There are some folks saying because of the different nail polish this whole thing was scripted. No one is that good of an actor. Can’t script chipped nail polish. She smokes Newports. Holy shit she is going to die of a grabber soon. I use to smoke those. Talk about a kick to your lungs.

I know! I hate him more for the hell he put her through when they were trying to “fix things” than I do for betraying her dad.
I also agree with you about Drita. Right now, the one thing she has going for her was that she wasn’t born into that lifestyle. But, she did choose it which means that it holds some attraction for her.
And, I agree about the flirty between Carla and Joe. I just hope that IF they get back together, he cleans up his act when it comes to the cheating. Because then it is another situation of them breaking up and their kids don’t need that.

When did I miss the part Junior was going back to jail? Why is he out if he was going back in? Or was that a lie about the 8 years?

  15. 15
    Posted March 29, 2012 at 12:16 pm

After the big bust on last season that had Junior arrested, Renee got him a lawyer and he was out on bail or parole while awaiting sentencing. That was when he moved back in with Renee to make things work. The note Junior left said that he was turning himself in for a completely different crime than he was originally arrested for and that was the first red flag that should have said something was wrong. One of the things that happens when the feds flip someone is they need a pretense to bring the flipped person in when the busts start happening – usually an arrest so that it doesn’t seem as though the person is working with them. I’m pretty sure that Junior knew the bust was happening and decided “turn himself in” on phony charges rather than endure a fake arrest on camera and possibly in front of his son. So, yes it was most likely a lie about the 8 years.

Renee was in no shape to be left alone that night, Karen certainly could have stayed, it’s not like she ‘s got a kid at home to take care of. Sometimes I wonder if Renee”s got a problem with coke, the way she flies off the handle, the trembling hands, the way she is constantly licking her upper lip, I don’t know, somethings not right. If she was taking the anti depression meds I would think she would appear calmer. What Junior did to her family and his own son is unforgivable in my book, hopefully this will give her the strength to cut that loser out of her life for good (although I know that she cannot do that completely because of AJ) .
Did anyone else watch Drita on Stevie TV? It was cute, making fun of her “no game ” with guys.
Lastly, I was a little surprised that Drita seemed genuinely surprised that Big Ang was even married.

    Posted March 29, 2012 at 3:59 pm

I think a great deal of Renee’s issues had to do with all of the various medications she was taking, combined with the alcohol, and the added drag/drama queen that she is. The licking her upper lip thing though, I didn’t notice her doing that until after she had that first laser peel last season. I always wondered if it was a habit she developed at that point or if I just never noticed it before.
I do think, provided the dosages were right for her brain chemistry, that she would be calmer on the antidepressants. But, I also think that she went off her antidepressants more than just the one time in the Poconos. It could have been that she felt she didn’t need them anymore (which happens a great deal with some people who get stable on them), or she could have made a conscious decision to not take them for whatever reason (drama, the idea of being self-sufficient, not liking the side effects – there are tons of reasons she could have given herself). I did think that Drita looked surprised that Big Ang was married, but considering it’s Big Ang, I think it would be surprising to a lot of people. I doubt she had some big pomp and circumstance wedding to the guy. Big Ang strikes me as the classic “date for her dinner” type of gal. Where she will let anyone wine and dine her, but they won’t get anything in return except the pleasure of her company – unless she changes her mind.

She likes to play the victim. She made it very difficult for her husband to see the childres, basically blackmailing him. Also this “I’m a rich, sophisticated lady” stuff is bs. Someone looked up Mob Wives net worth and get this: Carla is worth 1 million, Renee is worth 850,000, Drita is worth 3 million, Big Ang a whopping 5 million, and Ramona…150,000. Did you see her house? She has Gucci taste on an Old Navy budget. I think Renee saying she had peanut butter sandwiches left in her house was a little overdramatic. I’m sure these ladies made most of their money recently.

I agree, he could have at least pretended to somewhat like Renee, but he couldn’t even bother to do that. I think he was counting the days.
As for Drita, oh Dritzy…the look on the guy’s face when she punched him in the chest? Priceless. She reminds me of high school guys who don’t know how to tell you they like you so they pick on you (hopefully not punch you). I don’t think a “regular guy” would work out for her, she needs a street guy with tremendous swagger, and hopefully not a pos like Lee.
Big Ang being married to a 38 year old sanitation worker is Hilarious to me!
Carla and her man definitely still have chemistry but I hope she treads cautiously. She tweeted “just because a guy is cute doesn’t mean he’s perfect. I found out the hard way” or something to that effect, so I think she’s being smart about this.
Karen being there in Renee’s hour of need? Congratulations bitch. I loved when Renee told her “It’s not about the feds!”. She thinks because her dad went to jail she knows all about the life, but it doesn’t mean you can console someone especially when your goal is to get in the good graces of someone who couldn’t stand to look at your face in the beginning.
As for the troll who shall remain un-named: Not worth my time.

I think you’re right. There was this moment when she was listening and I could see it in her eyes. I also agree that she just didn’t have the heart to tell her.
I hate it, but I do agree with her decision not to say anything at that point. Because, Renee was really tense. But, that is the only point I will give her because the rest of it was her trying to tell Renee what to do for the sake of the camera and that only ended up winding her up more.
When Drita and Carla were hanging with Renee and Renee was having that breakdown about Junior and him possibly cheating – they just listened to her and would only tell her how worried they were for her. That helped her calm down because she could vent and she could also see that she did have friends that cared.
Karen doesn’t do that. She wants to be the Alpha in every situation and CSU just wants to increase the drama for the sake of the camera.

I think that her reaction to the letter was completely real. I think they went back later to re-film the scene of her finding it and spliced it into the narrative.

Aww! That’s so sweet of you. I love responding to the comments. My favorite part of recapping is when I know it’s published and I can start talking about the show with everyone. I only have 2 people I can have conversations about the show with. One is constantly busy with her drag shows, and the other is constantly busy stage managing plays. So, by the time I can actually talk to them, 2 episodes have already passed.

OMG! Didn’t Renee look gorgeous? I saw that and the family picture of her Junior and AJ and immediately realized that it had to be the “lifestyle” taking it’s toll.
Yeah, Sunday definitely looks intense. I love this show, but there are definitely episodes that I just don’t look forward to watching.

I believe Drita said she met Carla when she bought Carla’s parents’ house? I’d have to go back and check on that one though.

I do like that she doesn’t seem to have done anything to her face. And, her and her crew totally remind me of the high school days.

I was actually wondering if anyone caught his name? At first it seemed like it was bleeped out, but then it sounded like she was calling him Neil.

I kind of stopped feeling sorry for Junior in the first season. When Renee said that part of his proposal was telling her that no one else was going to marry her, I knew that he was a dick.

I hope Carla keeps thinking along those lines. Because they definitely have chemistry, but if he’s still a cheater, it is never going to work.

I loved that part when Renee said it wasn’t the feds too. And Karen’s reaction was such an immediate bitchface that I was surprised that Renee didn’t catch it. I mean, yeah she was wrapped up in her own drama, but it seems like she should have been able to see that Karen was playing to the camera and not really there for her.

I think Karen’s going to end up with permanent bitch face Especially next episode, cause how can people NOT be reminded of Sammy the Bull? There’s going to be a lot of comparisons going on. And rightfully so.
I realized what a freaking douche bag Junior is was at the therapist office and how he and Renee had sex (and how fucking degrading was that shit?) And then he had the gall to be upset with her!!!!! He makes my blood boil!

Its totally possible Drita was at the drunken monkey at 19, even possibly younger. I grew up on Long Island and I was in the clubs at 16.

I think the reason Karen said that (great now I am hearing Ray Liotta in my head every time I read “Karen”) is because that is how they grow up. It is us against them with them being the cops and feds who are not paid off. It’s no different with lower income folks. It’s not their parents that are bad, it’s the police taking their mom or dad from them. Not sure if Karen will every wake up or realize time has moved on and her thought process hasn’t.

Not sure Feather as Big Ang had her friend wear a wire, but she doesn’t seem upset with Karen for her dad doing it.

True, but Big Ang seems like a very forgiving person and you can’t fault the kid for the Dads misdeeds (that would be like blaming AJ for what Junior did) But you know every time someone says the word Rat – Karen is going to get all kinds of defensive about it.

First and foremost, I have to address my Karen hatred. her comment about the “feds” is so stupid. I get so annoyed whenever they use that term.

BUT thanks to you PlathAddict, I have a new mantra to yell when she irritates me- “SHUT UP KAREN!” So I made this image in honor of your recaps: http://pinterest.com/pin/190699365441570431/

I’m watching the Sit Down episode right now, and it makes me feel for AJ so much more. I know that Renee is suffering and as someone with bipolar disorder, I know how mental illness can make you so EXTRA, but she’s not thinking enough of what she’s doing to her son. During the show, AJ was asked how he feels to be put in the middle and he talked about how he doesn’t feel like he should choose sides. Renee responds that he should choose her side.

I get it, “Junyah” is an asshole but that’s still his father. Renee made the choice to have a child with him. She shouldn’t try to force her child to be in the middle. I’ve been there and it SUCKS!

Thank you Plathy— I have my pinot in its usual glass ( a pint glass) and will watch the episode in full. I saw a little of the break-down and it was so disturbing. I am a Renee fan and Junir is garbage for all he has put her thru. Hector– take responsibility please for your life– you are a low, shady man and believe me I know a guy just like you. You let her feel guilty and fill herself with self-loathing b/c of your actions when she isnt even involved in whats going on– she caused none of it but piece of crap that you are you think “Yeah, she did this to me”.
