OMG!!! Juliette pulled a Runaway Bride. I kind of love it. Both for the sake of her personal growth and as a kind of middle finger to TebowMom.

“From now on, you don’t owe nobody nothin…but me.”

“Is that right? Well, in that case, let me just get the fuck out of here while I still have some semblance of integrity left.”

… is what a rational person with an iota of common sense would have said. Oh, but wait; this is AVERY we’re talking about. He wouldn’t know rationality if it ripped that piss-poor excuse of a soul patch off his face.

I literally cheered when Scarlett not only grew a pair of brass ovaries and kicked his ass out, but showed out with JT and the other band members. Now, here’s to hoping the writers keep her that way.

All in all, this was a kick-ass start to the second half of this season. And I can’t wait for the full recap to come out.

My husband thinks Teddy had the whole thing planned all along possibly with Lamar that he would stand up for Rayna and then she would want to side with him. So he got what he wanted but made Rayna come to that decision on her own. If so, than that is some mad evil trickery. I was surprised Teddy knew he was not her father. I figured she kept it from him. It is a cold Pop Pop who would devastate his own granddaughter to get what he wanted. Yikes.

I am in love with Juliette’s outfits on this show. Everything from the dress to the hairstyles to the jewelry. I loved the pink sequin one and the white wedding dress they eloped in. So cute. Hayden looks gorgeous in this show.

I totally think Wyclef is going to pull a Suge Knight on Avery. Better watch out Avery, you might get dangled over a balcony!!!! Oops!

Avery’s band mates were fairly hot. Lots of attractive folks on this show even minor characters.

Did anyone else notice the leader of the band Deacon is playing with is that guy from True Blood that played the werewolf gang leader? haha I think about that every time his character is on screen.

This show is great. The writing and dialogue and how all the characters are multi faceted.

If I was Juliette when that MIL bitch told me she expected a lot from her DIL, I would have been like “I don’t have to do a damn thing you tell me to ho.” I have a crappy MIL so that stuff strikes a serious nerve with me. I almost married a guy once just to piss off his family that treated me like shit. Then I married another guy whose family hated me and I live to mess with them now. Its great.

Hey, SourCake, I also caught the Paul McCrane directorial credit and wondered the same thing that you did. In the full recap let us know if you found out if it is the guy who played Dr. Lefty.

Great episode!! I also loved Juliette’s pink sequined dress. If I owned it I would wear it everywhere. Deacon looked hotter than usual this ep.
