Fire Island, here we come!

Hey, remember that “sex video” we put up from ABC’s upcoming Fire Island romp, One Ocean View? Well, we actually received a cease and desist on it, even though the video featured no nudity, no discernible sound (minus one fleeting moan), and no solid evidence that the people having sex were on the show in the first place. The bad news is that we had to take the clip down (don’t all start crying at once now). The good news is that we have something equally as titillating in its place: the official One Ocean View trailer, set to the wuss-tastic sounds of Dashboard Confessional. This brief clip features more skin than our supposedly scandalous sex-tape, but I guess the lack of any orgasmic moans makes it okay to post. Truth is I started watching this video with my eyes fully prepared to roll, and while they did in fact roll, I was way more amused than I expected to be thanks to the constant onslaught of pretty people cheesing it up for the camera. Why look, there’s the dreamy guy staring pensively into our souls! And there’s the bitchy lady standing poised with firm resolve! And there’s the buxom blonde girl randomly sitting on some sort of wicker structure! And there’s the jacked guy, hunched over a railing as if to say, “Check it out, I’m hunched over a railing.” So it might not be a sex tape, but hopefully, you’ll find this clip worth at least 100 of its 108 second runtime.

    Perfect. Just edit together the PG outdoor kissing here and the orgasmic moaning in the other clip you got the full harlequin romance, bed-sheets-blowin-in-the-wind sex scene.

    I don’t know why but I laughed out loud at the part with this dude wearing a lobster bib, eating corn on a cob. How is that supposed to make me want to watch the show?

    Awesome. My favorite part was the guy trying to have a serious discussion about his relationship with his girlfriend while also eating corn on the cob.

    I had a similar experience with an ex girlfriend of mine but I was just shucking corn at the time.

    Is it sad that my only reaction to the trailer is: Why is it not July 31st yet?!?!?

    And yes there are straight people on Fire Island, the gay part is the east end, and The One Ocean View house is on the West End, near Ocean Beach. I saw the house when I was there a couple of weeks ago. And yeah, the locals think these people are lame.

    Wow, back in the day when the original Saved by the Bell got cancelled I wondered if anything that cheesy would ever come along again. Problem solved.

    #13) Fire Island has wild deer running around all over the island, u can walk rite up & pet ‘m. Theyve been there for a long time so theyre not afraid of people. No cars allowed on the island either, no roads, just sand & a bike path. FI is really pretty, the trip out there is nice, a 20min ferry ride. We rent a house during the wk when it’s less hectic, but our house isn’t a party house, no major boozing. I’ll chk the show out for an epis. or 2 to see if it’s worth it.
