Wow. Maybe Chuck Berry did threaten to sue, after all.

Christina Applegate’s new show on ABC is months away from a debut, and it’s onto its third title. The show about an amnesiac was originally called Sam I Am (her character’s name is Sam)– until lawyers for the Dr. Seuss estate rattled the sabre claiming they ripped off the well-known line from Green Eggs & Ham, leading the network to switch to Samantha Be Good (her character was supposedly rotten before she lost her memory in a car crash and now she’s trying to be a better person).

That was last week. We suggested that the composer of Johnny B. Goode might see cash potential after ABC rolled over for the Grinch crowd as quickly and enthusiastically as Kelly Bundy.

And sure enough, this week, Christina’s show has another new name:Samantha Who?

That’s the title. We sense another title coming on. So we solicit your suggestions that we’ll send along to Christina’s producers. You can have a direct influence on what you watch! Then you can threaten to sue, too.

Samantha Who is too much like Cindy Lou Who…from another Dr. Seuss story.

    I suggest “Eight Episodes.”

True. Might be more like five or six. Don’t they usually do groups of six, then 13?
