   Ah, the memories. How I love the way these designtestants also pick out one or two to be their ‘real competition’. And of course, they all say losing their original season was some horrible mistake.

   Interesting hierarchy, too. If you were a finalist in your season, you deserve to be on All-Stars. If you weren’t, you don’t. Of course, this tidbit of information came from someone who was a finalist on their season so take it with a grain of something other than modesty.

   I’m not too surprised at who went home. Love that designer but their focus is too narrow.

   And does anyone think that Hivey’s sad backstory is a tad contrived in an effort to not come across as an uber bitch this season? And does everyone still hate Wendy Pepper? She should probably win just so she can afford to do something about that hair.

   I am super stoked about this season..hell, I’m super stoked about all Project Runways seasons getting started. Am I the only one who LOVES Andre?? I find him delightful and dramatic, and he is the only person with a faux-British accents that I find charming. And Uli…she’s another one I am thrilled to see.

   I still can’t get over not having Tim, though…that hurts my soul.

   And will they please stop bringing back crabby Herman Munster? He is such an a-hole when he’s critiquing. But, I do love that British judge with the long brown hair…I have such a lady-crush on her…holy cannoli! It’s not that she’s so gorgeous, but the way she talks, and her critique’s are always spot on and thoughtful. I am SMITTEN!

   Tim said that season 10 and All Stars were filmed at the same time. So he couldn’t do both.

   Need to see Pleather get his head handed to him. It can’t happen soon enough! And I also love Andrae, but not his designs. I’m afraid he’ll be out before long. (Defy me, baby boy!)

   I totally got all my picks wrong, except I did nail who was going to leave (it was pretty obvious) and who would be bottom three. The top picks . . . um . . . let’s just say I would have never guessed in a million years!!!

   I think Althea might be a surprise this time, she seems to have grown. I can’t recall anything she’s ever done, but I remember her season being very meh.

   Never saw the first season, so I guess I’ll see what the Wendy gossip is all about.

   I so incredibly hated Pleather on his season (I swear he did a napkin dress just like that!) this time, I really feel sorry for him. I feel like even he’s not buying his schtick . . . and he also looks like he was up all night on some party drug and will now be crashing!

   i love tim, but i think joanna does a great job in the mentor role. i also think the judges are pretty decent. i love isaac (i’m probably in the minority here?) and georgina, they generally seem more interested in offering actual critiques versus “witty” bon-mots. plus i love hearing isaac say “that crotch is insane!”

   did anyone catch if rachel roy is a permanent judge, or only was a guest judge?

   Rachel Roy is a guest. As to why they had 2 guest judges – I have no idea. Isaac, Georgina and the Heidiclone are permanent.

   @juddfan – the funniest thing from season one with Wendy Pepper was that she kept a picture of her daughter on her work station and somebody drew a mustache on her. I’m still cracking up about it! She had a meltdown of epic proportions when she realized it. And till this day no one has ever copped to it. She really was a bitch in her season!

    thanks featherhead . . . I did hear she was a bitch, one of many this all star cycle.

    I actually like Hiedi 2.0 . . . no idea who she is, but her opinions at judging were smart to me, and I so agreed with her on Hivy’s Jacket, either the sleeve or waist, not both. It looked ink blotty, and took my attention away from the nice fitting and things she did. I didn’t catch her whole sob story, but what I heard sounded sad . . .

    Josh’s was, by far, the tackiest, cheapest looking piece of crap I’ve seen in quite a while. What did we used to call him? I still don’t like Emilioth . . .

    Pleather looked like he just rolled out of the nearest dumpster. Did he design the outfit he was wearing? The one pant leg was about four inches shorter then the other.
    Not buying Hivy’s reasoning about being such a bitch on her season. You were a bitch, just own it!

    I can’t believe Casa-ThisShowIsMakingMeFat-nova is working for Ivy. I still hate Wendy Pepper. She may have lost weight, but that hair is still atrocious. She looks like she should be standing over a cauldron, stirring baby limbs for Nina.

    Michkabibble, you are not alone. I love Issac too and I never understand why everyone doesn’t.

    Spreading of Andre, I think Andre Leon Talley would be an amazing guest judge. I don’t think they’ve ever had any of those Vogue editors on.

    @ featherhead, actually, Kevin Johnn said that he is the one who drew the moustache on the picture of Wendy Pepper’s daughter. It was an uncalled for cheap shot. Now, if it had been a picture of Wendy, I’d have applauded.

    I think I am hate-watching this show. I didn’t like Casanova’s – that girl is tiny and he gave her a belly pooch. Uli’s dress = Ivy’s interview blouse? And for reals, Kayne’s was drag queen all the way. At least the host is better than last year’s.

    Is it Casanova whose lips are monstrously big this season? My 7 yo daughter and I couldn’t stop rewinding to look at them … bizarre enough that she finally said, “Stop, mom! I’ll have a bad dream tonight!”

    I think this new host is better than Angela “Not Heidi” Lindvall. She did seem to be a little over excited about all the winnings. She calmed down for the judging, though. I don’t mind Joanna. She took some getting used to last season but I don’t mind her.
    OMG I was kind of hoping Casanova would go so I wouldn’t have to see his ginormous lips anymore. They are the biggest lips since Janice in the Muppet band.
    Kayne’s the one who did the pageant dresses isn’t he?
    I think this’ll be interesting. Kind of glad the loser is gone, though. I can’t see how far they would’ve have gone with their limited scope.

    I love Isaac too.
    When he told Peach to stop talking, I fell out laughing.
    And when he was designing for Target, I was the happiest camper ever. Like all my clothes came from that line smh.

    I like Heidi 2.0…I thought she sounded a little bored sometimes and kind of unnatural at others, but she wasn’t too bad. And is way way better than HideMe from last year.
    And she’s absolutely stunning….I love her eyes and jaw.
    Have no clue who she is though, so when the designers were freaking out and all that, I didn’t get it.

    The loser never had a chance at winning.
    And the losing team had a painfully bad collection…it was so amateur and babyish.
    No thought at all went into it….it was like a Garanimals collection.

    Anthony Ryan’s was disappointing…a howdy-doody shirt with a hooker back, paired with an ill-fitting pant.

    I am a hard-core PR fan, but I can’t bring myself to watch All-Stars. The thought of having to be subjected to Wendy Pepper, Hivy and Jersey Chore AGAIN…when they were so intolerable on their seasons…my gosh.

    And without Tim servin’ it up, it just doesn’t work for me.

    I will, however, be reading each and every Gasm-cap!!!
