In surprising news, I like Heidi’s Finale outfit! It’s entirely possible that it’s just due to the bar being set so low all season, but she may have hired a stylist for this one. Also Jennifer Hudson shows up to guest judge for no reason.

Now that I’m thin, so many doors are open to me, and I can fit through them all!

The show was way more interesting than I expected. Chris had a solid collection – he definitely held back a lot of power in the preview, but then again he had a few looks that were still basically a tank top and shorts. Tara totally underwhelmed me, everything was nice but her preview was a good representation of how basic her overall collection was. I’m starting to understand why she was so concerned that she hadn’t done enough last week when she saw the other designers’ work.

Better throw in a few more condom dresses!

Unibrow’s show I hated. It was different and unique and there were one or two things I thought were lovely but by and large I disliked this collection way more than I thought I would. To be fair, I favor a more tailored look and I kind of hate pastels, so I may just be missing the point and the judges could laud him a genius. Dmitry put out a mostly beautiful show. I worry; because there were definitely times I wish he had removed the fringe or the extra sparkles or both in his looks. He certainly straddled the line of taste and ballroom.

    Hated every collection. The producers really need to start giving the designers more time. This shit is ridiculous.

    Great show last night and I look forward to the recap. Poor Chris had some beautiful pieces but whew was he a wreck!!!

    I loved Dmitry’s collection and would wear every single piece. Speaking of Dmitry, have you seen the photos on his Facebook page??? There is one of him in a swimsuit lounging by the beach. The photo is so sexy, I had to employ utmost self control to not cry out, “OH! Dmitry!” while having sex with my hubby last night.

    And dear sweet Tim!!! He clearly expressed his excitement for this years winner in multiple forums. Also he posted a few catty comments bout past winner Gretchen that made me lol.

    Hurry and watch the show if you haven’t already as I need to talk about it!!!

    I would have enjoyed this episode a lot more, if it weren’t for them dedicating most of the episode to Chris’s whining.

    Oh, and as to Heidi’s runway gown, really? Isn’t she the one who gets all upset about souffle like floppy, shifting, moving boobs? I just kept waiting for her to give everyone a show.

    Speaking of which, the side cleavage on some of Melissa’s pieces was unbelievable. It’s a rare woman who happily wears a top knowing the slightest movement could expose one or both breasts. Well, outside of the entertainment industry, that is.

    Thank Gawd I had this recorded because I got to the point where I either had to kick a puppy or fast forward through Chris’ excessive whining. Luckily, my DVR saved Fido and the ending made the pain worth it. Amaze job all season, Mrs Mia!

    Chris was playing such a victim . . . I was never overly fond of him, now I’m just glad he’ll be off my screen!

    I can say, there were way more pieces shown than what was released on line, and so my impression of them all altered slightly.

    The judges surprised me, in a good way, and for that I am thankful!

    Boy, Tim had it right when he said Christopher was being “petulant.” Initially I thought he was kinda adorable despite his occasional whining but towards the end it was nothing BUT whining.

    When Chris said “it was like they were doing me a FAVOR by moving me forward” I was like OK I know he did not just say that. But I popped it back and played it again. And he totally did say that. I might not have the exact exact quote. But almost.

    Melissa’s Ramonaboob bathing suit with a cape made me LOL. I could see her getting Melissa to make her a blue 1. And wearing it on an actual beach. Cape and all. Her new Turtle Time outfit.

    What surprised me was I ended up liking Fabio’s collection the best. But not for any of the Project Runway kind of right reasons.

    OH. MY. GOD! Best season ever. Ever. I really liked Fabio’s collection and was so happy for him, even though I would never wear any of it. Dmitry’s was as expected – fabulous, classy, and perfectly done. I do have to say, though, that I was shocked by the love for his MC Hammer outfit. That fringe jacket with the Hammer pants? Oh my. But whatever. I’d wear anything that would get Dmitry to come party with me in a hot tub.

    I fucking hate Christopher and have ever since my feelings towards Skunk changed. He was such a terrible bitch these last two episodes. And what he said at the very end really, really, really pissed me off. By the way, blood orange is the proper term for that color. Either that or scarlet. It’s not red – it has orange in it. If you don’t know your colors, boy, you’d better get out of the fashion game now. His collection read Forever 21 to me. It looks cheap and trashy. I’m shocked he made it as far as he did.

    I soooo happy for the winner. I was going to be so pissed if that person didn’t win since I stayed up to watch the repeat at 1 AM! I don’t know how to do that newfangled DVR shizz.

    I think Chris was so bitchy because he just really lost it when he came to the end of it all. And, he kind of knew he wasn’t producing as well as he could have.
    Did anyone else think Melissa could have just made a slit up that really tight column dress the girl could hardly walk in? That was ridonk.
    I’m glad someone else thinks Fabio’s collection looked like bed sheets. I get that not everyone likes fitted shapes and dark colors but seriously? His collection reminded me of Bea Arthur on the lanai. They liked the way he dressed himself? Okaaaaaaaaaay.

    But actually, he was looking kind of delicious at Fashion Week.
    Also, can we briefly discuss how all of his friends are tall blonde girls? He’s like catnip for women. Something about him is so sexy.

    And I thought Heidi’s boobies looked spectacular. I’m sure alot of double-sided tape was involved, but them was some perfect boobies.

    As for the results…I Jafar- laughed at one loser, didn’t care about another, shed a tear for the third, and nearly died of joy at the winner.
    Can’t wait for the full recap, so we can really talk some shit.

    But I’m especially impressed with Heidi, given that she has four kids and I believe she breastfed them all. Magical boobies.

    I’m impressed with Heidi for letting it all sag just enough so that we know it’s all real. For a woman her age with four kids and no silicon she is slammin.

    I didn’t see the pic of Dmitry by the beach. I saw the one of him all wet at the bottom of the waterfall or something in a tropical location. Isn’t it nice to have a hetero male to appreciate on this show for a change? And, he seems like he’s genuinely nice.

    This episode reeked of desperation — one of the worst finales ever. None of them turned out anything interesting … certainly nothing you could really consider a “collection.” Maybe if they’d had the extra month to work on things, things might have been different.

    Pancho’s bedsheet collection was just ridiculous. I get what he was trying to do, but those washed out colors combined with the overall sloppiness of his schtick just didn’t work at all.

    Dmitry’s stuff just looked sad. Frumpy. He won (rightfully) purely for his technique. Although I’m still skeptical he’s got the creativity to back him up.

    I was really disappointed with Raccoon Eyes (female), but I think she definitely got screwed by the shorter work schedule. Not so with the other Raccoon Eyes (bitchy guy), who wouldn’t have done anything better given an extra six months.

    Oh well. At least Heidi’s boobs are happy!

    I’m usually pretty savvy about gaydar, but Dmitry managed to fly right under that. My instinct tells me that he likes the ladies…but he has that Belarusian chillness that says, “I show nothing”. I mean, come on…we all saw him go in for those kisses on his models – WAY different than some of the cute snuggle-hugs that we see from so many of our more festive friends.

    And yes, the black outfit he wore on runway day was SLAMMIN’.

    I think straight … but there are instances “euro straight” / “euro gay” ” can sometimes jam the gaydar!

    I always thought he had a more flirty relationship with his model…

    His “coldness” is what is sexy about him ( an body…but who’s looking!?)

    All sexiness put aside, i hope that he is able to get his label going as he seems sincere, talented and committed to his dream.

    I am going to start saving now so that i can buy one of his lovely sexy creations.

    I also wish the best to fabio and melissa as they seem like lovely humans. It was difficult to see fabio break down as we r used to his calm demeanor. Here is hoping the universe throws some good things his way

    All snarky comments aside, Fabio seemed like a good guy with his heart in the right place. And it was always sweet when he talked about/to his boyfriend. I hope he gets his chance at success one day.

    I agree Itchy. All three collections were crap. Some of the worst I’ve seen on the show. They just don’t give them enough time anymore. (budget/production reasons?) I was surprised Dmitry won. I thought they’d give it to Fabio because his was more “fluffy” and different and he needed the “boost” more.

    Chris could have won if he’d have done what he was good at, but he’s such an idiot, he couldn’t handle the pressure. He thought he had won 4 weeks ago! That was his problem.
