   You have to make sure to get there early so you can get a good sniff of the stuff and let us know finally — for sure — whether it’s grilled onions…

   susanarosa is right, we’ve narrowed it down to either fried onions or warm garbage. Please settle it once and for all.

   I stood next to Santino at a newsstand yesterday while we bothed browsed Italian magazines. He smells like sunshine and roses.

    P.S. A yard sale is not a good sign — does anyone know if he actually got any kind of deal out of the show? Or does no one want to deal with him? He and Ashley Parker Angel should have gotten together and held one BIG one — that’s what they always say in free magazines.

    I personally think he smells like arm pits and beige (formerly white), three-day-old underwear. With skidmarks like that guy on The Surreal Life.

    I would love to have me some Santino tchotchkes. With ruffles and ostrich feathers coming out the ying-yang. Y’all in LA are too lucky. I hate you all.

    A plea to anyone who goes… tell us what was there! I have always said that Santino smells like Heaven. Now I can finally know.

    Santino’s Yard Sale Review

    Last night I was working the night shift and thought I could hold out to drive to the Yard Sale early – unfortunately I fell asleep and woke up at 8:00 A.M. SHIT! I was thinking of all the cool stuff that has already been bought! So I jumped into my car and sped to Santino’s house. From his appearance in Project Runway, I was expecting some ghetto apartment with street whores on the corner, drug dealers offering free samples instead it turns out Santino lives in the well to do area of Larchmont Village (not exactly “ghetto”).

    Anyways since there was no time listed on the Yard Sale, random people were hanging outside waiting for Santino to arrive and sell us wonderful goodies. I’m sure there were some of us who were stalking for a good hour or so before Santino came out at 9:00 AM. And what wonderful treasures were there to be had? Well about 6 bins of unused fabric! YAY! Let’s pretend we’re at Mood except we’re outside… and in LA… and we’re not doing a challenge… and they’re in plastic bins… and they’re left over fabric! So the Yard Sale was pretty much 6 bins of fabric – some of the fabric looked like some of the materials he used to make clothes on the show so it would be perfect to shred and add to your own clothes in an unneccessary fashion to recreate that Santino look. There was also a rack with 2 feather boas and weird robe that looked like something Santino would wear. The only non-fabric item were a New York Guide Book that he probably used while in New York (yes, that’s me stating the obvious), a bamboo tray, and I think a Radioactive Fall Out sign. So yea, it was a lame Yard Sale and I was a bit disappointed.

    But if you wanted to talk to Santino and take pictures with him, he was happy to do it. I didn’t talk to him or smell him… I was a couple feet away so he couldn’t smell like day old garbage. I didn’t talk to him myself since frankly, pesky fans were asking him pretty retarded questions that I think he probably gets all of the time. Oh, well! I should’ve made him sing for my entertainment, that would’ve made my day!

    I too stopped by Santino’s yard sale, but later, around 10:15am. The same 6 bins of fabric
    and 2 boas were there, in addition to about a dozen people milling about (myself included). Santino was giving an interview, so making a purchase would have been awkward. Did anyone actually buy anything? Pretty uneventful overall, though I did overhear a guy call himself a “triple threat: actor, director, writer”. Nice.
