Fastforward to the next day when he lets her know that there isn’t a belt on earth that would rein in her massive haunches and she is going to have to hope the judges can just imagine she has a waist. After a liberating night sparring she has new confidence to speak up and tells him that his emphasis on BeltGate is making her feel fat. Blorph waddles off to tell Heidi’s brood that there is no Santa Claus and also Daddy left because they were bad.
“Gotta grow up sometime, future fatties”
In his massive, ferry-rocking wake, his client seems frustrated and downtrodden and is driven to tears. We get a quick shot of her testing the belts to see if there’s one that might fit.
“His neck can’t be much bigger than this, right?”
Or will hold the weight of a 300lb man being hung from Parson’s rafters. Blorph is alerted to the state of his client by other designers and the coworker friend. He interviews that if what he is saying is making her feel fat it is just because, well, she is fat. Also they had discussed colors and ideas and he had basically come back advising her that her best look is in the Black Burka collection.
Blorpheus attempts some damage control finally by reassuring her that the finished product will be great and she will be all made up and glamorous. He goes for that extra-deep grave then by saying he had been surprised how nice she looked the day before after the makeover. This is appropriately received as not too complimentary.
Any body language experts out there? Is this considered a kill stance?
On their way out the friend admits she had told Blorph the dress would look good at a funeral. She probably did not tell Blorph it was his funeral.
Hair and make-up, part two! Fast forward part two!
Heidi comes out in a horizontal striped monstrosity and a belt that not only fits but has ample overlap just to drive home the humiliation.
“Since when did they start making belts that don’t fit?”
Nina and Michael are introduced and the guest judge surprisingly has something to do with fashion this time.
Miley Cyrus must have been busy
Urkel – His model comes out sassy and proud but with a stiff gait in a blue satin sausage casing. He did work in some sheer panels so she should be happy.
Elena – Her model comes out sassy and a pretty good walker. She didn’t get the vibrant colors she wanted, but she does look sophisticated, the pale rose hue is really flattering and she actually escaped without looking like a linebacker!
