Wednesday’s Rating Numbers Day

They did it again! American Idol kicked ass, coming in 1st & 2nd over two nights. They have dominated the ratings since their season debut. (SuperBowl doesn’t count). The 51st Annual Grammys & 60 Minutes came in 3rd & 4th respectively. CBS still dominates overall with 9 shows in the ‘Top Twenty’. FOX has 6 & ABC makes the list with 5 total. There is no sign of NBC at all. Jump please…….

Let’s take a look at who Mr. Nielson proclaimed the “Top Twenty” for the week of Feb. 2-8.

1. American Idol FOX (26.6 mil) Tuesday’s show. No “Idol” winner here.

2. American Idol FOX (26.4 mil) Wednesday’s show. Not one here either.

3. 51st Annual Grammy Awards CBS (19.0 mil) MIA was the best act of the night!

4. 60 Minutes CBS (16.7 mil) Katie scores big with the hero Pilot!

5. Two and a Half Men CBS (16.6 mil) Charlie’s done it again!

6. CSI: Miami CBS (16.1 mil) The Alexx comback was a hit.

7. Grey’s Anatomy ABC (15.3 mil) Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are finally “outta there”.

8. House FOX (14.9 mil) The clocks ticking on the Huddy hook-up.

Monk is #1 on the ‘Top Ten’ cable list. The WWE still maintains a top spot though & as you can see, the wrestling fans pick up after 10pm. USA is the dominate cable channel with 6 shows on the list.
