The 81st Annual Academy Awards on ABC, took the first place spot for this week, Feb. 16-22, de-throning American Idol. It was no surprise though. We American love our celebrities & a chance to watch all that glitz & glamour on a Sunday night is a real treat. This gave ABC a great ratings week with seven shows in the Top Twenty. CBS is still on top with nine shows & there is no sign of NBC at all. Can they cancel a network?
