RomCom calls him out for getting pissed at her for talking to random guys when he’s talking to someone he actually cares about. Grandpa says he felt like the whole thing was “wrong and awkward from the beginning” and gives the whole “didn’t plan on any of this” speech. RomCom says she doesn’t want to be his second choice, and claims to be torn between stopping things and continuing things. Bullshit, but carry on. Grandpa counters with “I think it would be smart to stop, but I don’t think it would be easy to stop.” Such insight. BTW, Grandpa wears his child’s pirate hat for serious conversations about relationships.
Mo’Rum tells us that if she’s going to have to deal with Ginger and Emily, she’s going to make sure Ginger goes through the same thing with her. She has a plan: “Max will be returning to the Virgin Islands.”
To perhaps pay a visit to Mo’Rum’s not-so-virgin island.
Yay, Max! Latoya wonders about Ginger, but Mo’Rum assures us that she knows the games guys play because she’s played them too, and she’ll be damned if Ginger makes her look like a fool. Oh, and things were going so well, too. It was too good to last.
It’s dark out, and Grandpa and RomCom are still having their conversation. Grandpa suggests slowing down, and RomCom tries one last time to get him to choose her. They reluctantly agree to slow down, because that is a thing that has ever worked in the history of time. “I hate you,” RomCom says. “I hate me, too,” replies Grandpa, still weighed down by the bombshell he got earlier.
Next: Mo’Rum and Swift get into a fight? About what? RomCom gets her flirt on, and Grandpa gets his rage on.
Well, at least this season finally produced something unexpected! And it’s even a step forward than the usual Real World pregnancy scare! I feel bad for this Chelsea girl. Be careful out there, Gasmii. Also, as dumb as this Ginger/Mo’Rum drama will probably be, at least there will be some conflict. I was enjoying their mature conversation early on, should have known it couldn’t last. The difference between them and most RW couples is that I actually believe they would be friends and/or date in real life. They seem pretty compatible, beyond the “hey, here is a person in my vicinity” way that most RW couples appear to get together. We shall see how this turns out. What did everyone think?
