Avid viewers of The Real World: Key West may have thought the saga of Svetlana and the tanning salon was over. WRONG. The disgruntled cast member is still bitter about not earning the manager position and has recently attacked her former boss Ricky in an attempt to defend her honor (and perhaps push the English language to its grammatical limit). The problems began when Ricky wrote something mildly critical of Svetlana in a blog entry annoyingly named OMG: The Redecorating. He subtly suggested that Svetlana was not being the best team-player, and that was enough to draw the ire of our headstrong Russian.
Svetlana wrote an angry, loooong rant against Ricky that is equal parts incoherent and hilarious. It’s really quite amazing. Aside from all the grammatical errors, the best part of this tirade is Svetlana’s angry insistence that she is not a “princess”:
I really didn’t understand how you could create such a interesting nickname without knowing a thing about my life. Princess svetlana, your absolutely right — princess of my castle, wait no you must have been refereeing [cut to me laughing] to the room we shared with two other families in 3 different countries while immigrating to America, or did you mean our government housing where I had to take care of myself since I was 6, only to have a little brother come into the picture when I was 9 and have to raise him because my parents finally got some money and didn’t want to waste anymore time getting old and partied all the time leaving me with my “castle”.
Yes, because I’m sure when Ricky called you a “princess” he meant that you literally had a kingdom. Nevertheless, this past Friday, Ricky posted a response that is entirely lacking in the cattiness I demand but entertaining nonetheless. To read his comments, check out Ricky’s blog, Inside The Booth. Thanks to TVgasm reader Jewkakke for the heads up.
