Quinn has had enough of this lying around shit. He knows it wasn’t over when the Germans bombed Pear Harbor, and it’s not over now. He springs out of bed, tushy wagging in the breeze. Carrie protests for the sake of her modesty, but Quinn aptly tells her “It’s not like you haven’t seen a dick before”.
“I do feel like I see a giant dick right now”

Awkward times in the motorcade as Dana and Finn are escorted to the charity event in the backseat of a limo. Chris is in the front seat and puts in his five minutes for the episode by warning Dana that riding horses can get your neck broken. He puts up the divider so Dana has a chance to let Finn know she attended the funeral of the hit-and-run and saw how poor the family’s circumstances were. Finn sees a glimmer of hope in paying to make this all go away, but Dana throws cold water on his plans by letting him know she is going to tell. With or without him.
“You are the worst girlfriend ever”
I’m expecting Finn to go full psycho boyfriend here, but he seems resigned to it all and agrees that they will tell. His allusions to his father being crazy or strict or whatever make me wonder if Dana is about to be the next young girl dragged out of the Potomac. Or Christopher Reeved on a horse….
Car #2 in the Misery Motorcade contains a fairly chummy Jessica and Nicholas Brody. They chat politics before Brody asks about Mike dropping by the house. Turns out the missing son has some purpose in ratting out his parents to each other at least. Jessica cuts right to the chase and admits that Mike came over to accuse Brody of killing Tom Walker.
“That guy will say anything to get laid”
Brody is trying this new thing called Almost Honesty and he tells Jess that as part of his secret CIA duties he did “Play a role in stopping” Tom Walker. Jess is horrified but Brody basically describes Tom as a POW that went through too many things to “get right”.
They all pull up to a giant mansion in the country where some sort of weekend fundraising party is to take place.
Bigger than a synagogue, smaller than an embassy….
The Brodys are welcomed and Dana lets Finn know that the confession has to happen that day. Brody stays outside to make a phone call to Carrie. Turns out Jess knowing about Tom Walker has him rattled and he wants answers. Carrie can only tell him that they will look into it. Apparently Brody does not enjoy when the opposing spy bosses in his life won’t give him any details. Brody hangs up furiously just as Estes pulls up to the mansion. CIA directors really do get around! Estes is apparently there just to watch over Brody and the latter is none too appreciative.

Agree…it has not been as interesting since Brody was uncovered as a spy. This past wk was much more exciting. I don’t want to give anything away but I am not sure what is going to happen. Apparently Brody will still be around. I am sure nothing will be resolved until next season.
