Just as Emily is rushing out, Ashley and Daniel arrive to plan the wedding. She tries to wriggle free, but they won’t let her.
Jack shows Nolan Daniel’s $1 million check. Nolan advises him to cash it so the Graysons won’t try to find a more permanent solution to keeping him quiet. Emily frantically calls Nolan and asks him to track the WHM for her.
Lydia is perusing wedding magazines like a starry-eyed teenaged girl when Victoria barges in. Victoria tells Lydia that the Feds are building a case against Conrad for the downing of the plane and murder of David Clarke, and that Victoria has garnered an offer of immunity for Lydia if she will cooperate.
Victoria then goes over to feel up Dominik’s painting and has a mini orgasm.
IT’S CREEPY, Y’ALL
Victoria rips open the painting to find this inside:

Nolan is spying on WHM and Conrad as Ashley throws barbs at Emily. Nolan is texting Emily info during Ashley’s presentation. Ashley and Daniel are getting annoyed.
Conrad tells WHM that he has kept every shred of evidence that has been generated since “the day you (WHM) darkened my door 20 years ago.” Conrad tells WHM that if he ever threatens his family again he will exposed him and his employers.
Daniel finally gets super annoyed and grabs Emily’s phone. They get into a fight and Daniel and Ashley storm out.
Jack is looking for Sam. MiniFaux tells Declan that they can go look for him, too.
Nolan tries to convince Emily not to come after WHM, but she is determined, so he texts her the address where to find him.
WHM is in a house with about five million clocks. He is winding each one while he talks to someone on the phone. Emily is sneaking up to the door. She loosens the lightbulb and takes a deep breath. She rings the bell. WHM gets a gun.
When WHM opens the door, he finds Nolan pretending to be this guy:

WHM lets Nolan in.
Emily rings the bell again, and Aunt Carole comes around the corner. She tells Emily that Nolan couldn’t let her do it. Aunt Carole tells Emily she does not know where Nolan is. Aunt Carole asks Emily what David Clarke would think – would he wonder how she got here. Emily tells Carole she got here alone – but Carole reminds her she is not alone. That Nolan has been with her all along. Carole tries to talk some sense into Emily but she ain’t havin’ it and storms off.
As Nolan is about to leave WHM’s house, WHM stops him and asks for his business card from the cable company. Nolan tells him they have a website and his name is Bert Simmons.
Conrad arrives home to a distraught Lydia. She lies tells him that she came home to find Victoria tearing up his painting and ranting about hiding evidence.
Emily is furious with Nolan, calling him a traitor. Nolan says he gave her options to gather intel and discover more about WHM. She storms around to her front door and finds…
SADNESS
Dammit! I am already all teary-eyed and they cut to Charlotte’s therapy session. Victoria says that Charlotte needs to quit making her the bad guy whilst lionizing Conrad. Just then, Conrad shows up at the session. Daniel tells them they are playing “I like, but I need.”
Hmmm – let’s give it a go, shall we? I like Swiss Cake Rolls but I need to lose 50 pounds. Quite the conundrum, no?
Conrad finally gets to Victoria and tells her he likes her sense of self-preservation but he needs her to return everything she just stole from him. Victoria responds that she likes that he suspects her but she needs to tell him that others are betraying him as well, “even while warming your bed.” I dunno – I kinda like my turn better.
If you like it, spread it!:

What I don’t understand is how a family like the Graysons don’t have their homes sweeped for bugs/cameras/etc. They claim they are as powerful as they think they are (plus they have the ego for it), they would definitely have it checked out. I knew a family that was extremely wealthy (and therefore rather powerful) and they had monthly sweeps of all their homes and cars. It was odd.
Sam dying was the first time I have actually felt anything except disgust watching this show. That was so freakin sad.
I thought Nolan had a bodyguard? Or was that just for one episode? I also think Victoria tampered with what she found in some way, why else would she wait outside the office door. And the look on her face alluded to the fact that she knew Daniel was going to call Conrad. She is setting Conrad up for a bigger fall.
SO glad this wasn’t the finale and we get more Revennnnge! I can’t get behind this new development with “The Initiative,” which will forever be a reminder of one of the worst Buffy plot lines. I do not need the government secretly fighting vampires on Revenge, thank you.
Definitely teared up when Sammy died and thought Emanda was about to spill who she really is to Jack. Obvs, Nolan is still alive. Even if he weren’t, I’m sure they’d find some way to bring him back. Also, wtf happened to his security guard? You’d think he’d EXTRA have one after that Tyler mess. Oh, rich people. You are not invincible. Get security.
@Carol, she looked so heartbroken when Daniel called his dad! Poor Vicky. Always trusting the wrong men and getting the right ones killed.
I was so hoping that Emanda would tell Jack who she really is. I mean come on, the dog knew, you’d think Jack would have figured it out by now!
S-Natch, you made me giggle with your swiss rolls and 50 pounds
I know where that come from
but I hear you sister, I have about 8 weeks to shed some weight before the MR comes home from deployment…and I can pretty much say, that shit ain’t gonna happen! I have been stuck in the house for a month now, due to my stupid ass falling down the stairs and spraining my ankle….!
I wonder who Emanda is beating the shit out of next week…I will predict the WHM cause you know Nolan got a 911 text out to her to come and save his ass!
PS, I liked scruffy Jack alot better then clean shaven Jack…jmo
I read that Declan is a current trending name for boys in the US. I wonder if this show has anything to do with that??? I am guessing so because I never heard of that name till this show came out. I like the name.
The things Jack was whispering to Sam as Sam died were so like what I said to my cat when he passed away last October, and what my husband said to his dog when he we lost the dog to cancer. It completely broke my heart…as did seeing Jack and Declan crying together. That was a very real moment.
On the other side is the revelation of this stupid Initiative. I don’t like the expansion of the conspiracy/crime and the new roster of criminals. It’s now getting X-Filesy, and that will guarantee me losing interest.
Man, that scene with Jack, Emily and Sam really got me. I started getting teary once Emily walked up on the porch and saw Sam lying there.
Are we sure that Nolan is ok? That was a creepy ending.
I like watching Victoria and Conrad getting their digs in. And I still want that chair she sits in.
@Carol…where I live there are an abundance of Declans and they were all born years before this show began. Might be a regional thing, more popular in some parts of the country than others. I figured they named the character Declan based on the name being popular, not the other way around.
Re Victoria’s kids–I think Conrad is shooting blanks. I would bet money that both her kids are the result of affairs with the artist and Amanda’s father.
Anybody figure out what’s up with the white-hair man and all those clocks? I was not expecting him to be right behind Nolan, scared the crap out of me!!
I like scruffy Jack better too
Scared me too featherhead. I can usually see that kind of stuff coming and that totally took me off guard!!!
I LOVE this show! I have been addicted since the first night. Each week it’s something new to make you think and try to figure out. This woman has been plotting for so many years-OH REVENGE is SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! With all of the stupid shows that are on TV, at least this one always has a surprise! I don’t think that Daniel is a Grayson either. That mother of his is just a nasty whore. What is up with Ashley? How does she know Emily-did it ever explain that? Also, what about the Kung Fu guy?
Nooooo Sammy! Like y’all, I just thought that scene was heartbreaking. Jack telling Sam that he was his best friend and taught him how to love…WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
Conrad said something to Lydia about marriage – “Third time’s a charm.” Who was his first wife?!?!?
Emily + Nolan = BFF’S FO LIFE!!!
I hate Ashley. I hate her and I wish they would kill her off the show.
I don’t think Daniel is a double agent. I think we will find out he is as ruthless as the rest of the Graysons.
I want Jack and Emily to be together so bad.
