Wow – this video is more significant than I thought. RIP Adam Yauch
Coming for the Sabotage!
Due to the Golden Globes experience and some personal, familial issues, I am going to take a different take on the recap this week. Let’s do the most ridiculous/significant moments from this episode:
Voiceover/Title Name Explanation: FAIL
Really? Are we doing this every week? From here to eternity? With a flashback? (Again the flashback within a flashback – hello, Ringer!) You know – this framing device encapsulates the entire problem that Revenge has: it set itself up in such a brilliant manner that there is no way that it cannot disappoint. Emily can’t cross off faces every week – there’s not enough faces. And now there aren’t enough deadly sins and profound definitions to suffice.
Wait – Emily and Aiden are working together, right? So – they should be on the same proverbial page – right? So what’s the prob, slob? Get it together, Aiden! We like you because you DON’T pout and you DO do awesome James Bond impersonations – out of nowhere! Kudos – Aiden – even if it was a blatant audition.
Emily’s Ga-gorgeous Party Dress: SUCCESS
This was a good look
I mean, really. This reminded me of why these costume people kick serious ass (as they do every week, fo’ sho’). It was awesome and it was perfect for the event.
Miss Initiative’s Creepy Lair Where She Sits All Day and Watches Daniel?: SUCCESS
Wow, lady – you must be batshit crazy to sit in a room watching this simpleton all day. But you get vital information maybe 2 or 3 times a week. But he probably sex-Skypes Ashley most hours of the day. But I bet the darkness is good for your migraines. But I bet you really want to be drinking sangria with your wife. (OH YES I DID!) The creep factor saves you.
Jack In Jail: SUCCESS
“Go get your groove back, girl!”
Don’t get crazy. y’all! Jack in jail reignited Amanda as FAUXMANDA! Hell-er! Faux was awesome this week! The watch, the gun, the threat to Skeevy #2. She kicked ass – again. She trashed it up as only she can.
Victoria Using Conrad’s Rival to Bid on a Bottle of Wine While Her Son Tries To Bid on the Same Bottle of Wine while Conrad Decides To Run For Office (btw – what office? Crossing guard? Dog catcher? Mayor? PRESIDENT?)…this could go on and on…um: FAIL
“I know! I’ll get the guy from Nip/Tuck!” ???
Right? I feel like this whole thing was a no-starter and that Conrad needed something to do – besides put on shorts.
Jonathan Mallen grew up in San Francisco, went to college at Santa Clara University, and has spent the bulk of his youth living and dying in LA.
Don't worry, mostly living.
He has worked as an actor, teacher, limo driver, waiter, personal assistant, office assistant, script reader, retail associate, stylist...the list goes on and on.
He is very happy to add BLOGGER to his illustrious resume.

Sorry to hear about your cousin … sending thoughts and prayers.
Missed the show this week, but the Stowaway nonsense is messing up the show. Great recap.

Sorry about your cousin.
I agree that Fauxmanda rocked this week. Actually I went from straight hating her to loving her.

Cancer Sucks! Thinking of you and your family.
Thank you for the recap! I lost interest in Alias – I hope they just finish this show in a satisfying way rather than go in a weird story arc.
