Honey, it looks like you forgot to pay the electric bill…
Hello Gasmi! This is my first foray into non-reality TV recappery… so bear with me. Hopefully it won’t be recRappery. Revolution opens in Chicago, we assume present day, with two little kids, a boy and a girl, “watching” Bugs Bunny cartoons.
I’ll bet he’s behind all of this
Bugs, as we know, makes the lights go out, he faked the moon-landing and is, in general, the root of all evil. I actually don’t believe that, but I’m trying to start rumors. I do, however, believe that Bugs is not meant for kids, so already I’m sending the DCF to these people’s house… but let’s face it, in a few, short, minutes they will have a whole boat load of other issues. Bursting through the door is a frazzled father, his name is Ben, carrying a big box of “stuff,” telling his wife to till the sinks and the tubs.
Fill the tubs! Daddy needs a BATH
The woman/mother says “It’s all happening isn’t it?”
It’s all happening…
The scene cuts to two dudes driving in a car- the subtitle tells us it’s “Port Royal, South Carolina.” Driving the car is Bella Swan’s dad and his passenger is texting on an iphone. The friend tells Chief Swan about this chick that is texting him. Chief Swan’s phone rings, it is Ben (Chief Swan’s brother), who tells him “It’s all going to turn off.”
As Ben is talking to the Chief, he is downloading something from his laptop onto a thumb drive, suddenly the lights start to flicker, Bugs Bunny flickers, the passenger’s iphone flickers… and then the lights go out. We seen Ben insert the thumb drive into an amulet or a medallion.
