Revolution Recap: Sex and Drugs and Sword Fights

15 years later and I finally get a bath

MisRed here, sending out a HUGE apology for this late recap. We can blame that bitch Huricane Sandy!!! She knocked out our power for 4 days and we just got it back this afternoon. Yes, people, I was in my own personal REVOLUTION. My first order of business was to write this recap. Well, the first thing I did was cease my samurai sword fighting class and militia boot camp and cancel my bulk duck tape order, then I took a hot shower and THEN I wrote my recap.

OK, so last time we met, we found out the following:
Nora was stabbed
The gang missed their train and Danny…again
Nate/Jason is Neville’s son
and Kim Raver was inappropriately dressed for the apocalypse

Back with the Fantastic Four… Miles steals a Militia wagon. They load a septic Nora into the back and hightail it to the closest “hub,” which is 5 hours away by wagon train. Aaron nurses Nora by dumping whiskey into her wound and he says “Charlie, it’s going to be ok.” Charlie responds that it’s never ok, and that is just something that people say to each other to make them feel better. MIles tells Charlie to shut up- Aaron was just trying to make everyone feel better. (That’s true, you know, it poured rain on my wedding day and everyone was like “It’s good luck.” I was like, yeah right.)

Flashback to the night of the Black Out. Oh good, we are getting Aaron’s back story.
Aaron and Mrs. Aaron are riding in the back of a limo, it’s the anniversary.

I’ve never seen anyone look LESS comfortable in a limo

Mrs. Aaron wants to know where they are going? Aaron says nothing more than it’s a weekend trip on the Company Jet. The lights go out and the limo slows. As Aaron asks the driver what’s wrong, a runaway truck smashes into the Limo.

In Philly, at the Monroe “offices,” Monroe is using the Liberty Bell as a paperweight. Neville brings Danny before Monroe. Monroe says to Danny “I knew your father. That is not how I wanted things to work out. Captain Neville will be dealt with. I see your mother in you.”

Danny asks “You knew my Mother?”

Monroe instructs his minions to take Danny to his room. He tells Danny that his is his guest and he can have anything he wants. Food, women… anything. Danny only has to ask.

How much for the women?  I want to buy your women.

Danny leaves and Neville apologizes. Monroe tells Neville he is being promoted to Major. Would Neville like to be the head of Intelligence and Interrogation? Apparently, it’s a job Neville has wanted for while. Neville thinks Julia would be happy to have him home.
