And here’s Lauren Manzo to add to the case against Teresa. She says that she’s heard Ter say the stripper thing about Melissa before. And again, therefore, this all must be Teresa’s fault. Caroline chimes in to say that Ter said it to her too. Jacquee is still squawking about the play by play her “friend” was texting her of “the guy” who was saying that Ter set Mel up, and again this is all the proof anyone needs. Oh, Jacquee’s friend said she overheard a guy saying it was Teresa’s fault? Consider this case cracked.
My friend’s friend’s sister’s cousin’s friend heard this guy saying it was all Teresa’s fault. What more do you need to know?
All this does is make the Gorgas more and more livid. And when the Gorgas get mad, they get very dramatic. Midge says that he doesn’t know why he’s trying and trying so hard with someone who doesn’t love him. But now he has closure, he says, and he’s moving on with his life.
“I’ll forward you the messages,” Jacquee, who has had no part in this at all, casually tells Melissa. Finally, Ter comes outside and is now accusing Jacquee of telling Mel that Ter “sold her out”. I had a friend texting me, Jacquee whines. But Ter wants to know why Jacquee is doing this.
And Jacquee explodes that she’s been “helping” Ter “the whole time”. With what? Besides your bankrupt husband’s fake offer to buy the Guidice furniture at auction. Ter wants to know who this friend is who’s texting Jacquee, and pinning the whole thing on Ter, and Jacquee too refuses to be a rat. How very convenient. I think this also proves that it was producer involvement, and none of them want to say so on camera.
Why would I set up Melissa, Jacquee wonders. Because you’re one of those idiots who thinks you’re smarter that everyone? It’s Teresa with the motive, Jacquee reminds the world. She tells us this is her “a-ha” moment, and now she knows she and Ter are not friends. “How dare you turn this around on me!” Jacquee screeches at Ter. Then she tells the camera that she thinks Ter is disgusting scum and she’s “completely done”.
The Gorgas drive away and Mel is telling Midge to yell “Shame on you” out the window to his sister. “Just do it,” she encourages. This is the same Mel who spent the last two years telling us how all she ever did was try to keep things peaceful between Midge and Ter, by the way. I say this leopard is really showing her spots tonight.
“Screw that bitch,” Midge says, now firmly on the It’s All Teresa’s Fault bandwagon. They drive past her, and he asks again why she didn’t stand up for Mel, and then ignores her answer. But like I said, no matter what it was lose/lose for Ter on this one. Midge reminds he that at his Christmas party, he threw out some lady for her but she won’t stand up for him. They continue to yell back and forth at each other as a traffic cop shoos Midge and Mel’s car away.
