   After watching Teresa’s family trash her on season 3/4, along with Caroline and Jac getting more crazy as each episode airs, I’m not mad at Teresa much! Especially after looking at the ladies Twitters, etc. Teresa didn’t just get this way. Friends do come and go unfortunately, but family..you love them but don’t have to like them(although apparantly you have to work with them too!) Everybody else wants a pass for their behaivior and brushes off their mistakes, but they slaughter Teresa for hers!

   I didn’t fully understand why Jacqui was upset. Because Teresa doesn’t want to accept reality so she creates her own? Huh? And at the party, was she really expecting to come by and hug her hello? Bitch you told me you her you didn’t want to be her friend and then you’re confused because she doesn’t greet you? the hell?
   As for Melissa, I’m tired of her. Midge needs to calm his ass, we get it, you’re a dog in heat perpetually rubbing up on your wife’s leg, who then kicks you away because she’s tired of it. Gross.
   Caroline is so fucking annoying now, with her air of I’m the matriarch of this shit show. Go tend to your useless kids and stop thinking you’re the best thing since sliced bread. Ugh.

   Maybe Jackie was confused because in the end of the ambush Teresa gave her a hug and a kiss goodbye perhaps that is what Jackie was expecting as a hello as well.

   So are we all just ignoring the possibility of the ‘distancing myself from your family’ line was actually edited in to the end of that conversation? Did it actually fit in at that point? Methinks that line was from an earlier point in the conversation & they made it look like that’s how it ended. Why else would Tre end it by kissing her? I think that line was said earlier, they continued to rehash, and ultimately came to better terms by the time she left. I’m not buying that she ended the convo by saying that, which is why she was a little shocked at the brush off. Someone who the last thing said to another person was about distancing herself from someone doesn’t react like that when said person doesn’t speak imo.

   It’s funny how Ter’s vile behavior is now being explained away and accepted by the same people who saw her for the despicable person that she is because they perceive her to have been ‘attacked’ by a friend who was calling bullshit. As I’ve said before, Jac had EVERY right to question her best friend about lying to her constantly & then getting upset with her for calling her out. If you can’t expect honesty from your friend then what’s the point? ‘Say what you want to the world, but don’t lie to ME’ is a valid point for someone who considers herself your best friend. So poor Ter my hiney! Jac is the one who didn’t do anything wrong. Just because she refuses to continue to play along in Ter’s sick, twisted little game any longer doesn’t make her the villian. Are people really saying it’s ok for Ter to be a dick to her because she called her out & her trying to form an alliance with the people she wanted to destroy is acceptable? Really?

   Here’s hoping that Kat & Melissa continues to see right through her bullshit & not play into her little game.

    Loved the recap as it clarified many of my mental confusions! Does anyone else think that ‘the one on the left’ is Caroline? Teresa’s appearance on Celebrity-Apprentice caused me to realize that she is not a complete nut-case. While interacting with The Donald, various executives, celebrities and pseudo-celebrities, she was a very calming, astute, hardworking, reliable, intelligent influence. I have come to admire her resilience and praise her in her efforts to keep her family afloat and viable! I wish her well and hope she makes a bundle!

    Ho-Wives disgust isn’t a zero sum game. Just because you can see one person’s point of view or that they may be the subject of an unfair ambush does not mean that you suddenly sign off on their whole crazy troll bitchery in other situations. All of these women are beyond horrible. It’s just that in certain given situations some are more horrible than others. And that is subject to change at any time.

    This is what makes the entire Ho-Franchise even remotely watchable. And why you need a scorecard.

    Ihatecindy – the only reason Teresa behaved herself (besides drugs) is because she was out of her league. She had no business being there and was only brought in to hopefully behave like the loon she portrays. How you saw Teresa behave towards Danielle is the real Teresa.

    Besides Jac thinking things were okay after their discussion, I am going to assume Jac wanted try and be nice because they are going on a trip in a Wannabango together across the country.

    I keep thinking that I would like to know why the hell Mel tried to act as the passive mediator during the party fight instead of trudging over there, giving the Mom Face, and saying, “Look you crazy fucking cows! You both had better cool your jets and shut the hell up before I take you both up on stage and beat your asses in front of everyone and then throw you out of here like were at a fucking saloon.” But then I remember that such a thing would be far too practical and practicality is taboo in the Housewives franchise.

    @fancyface, I’m not sure I understand your point. Teresa is supposedly broke, she “sold” articles to the tabloids to make extra money, I’m not sure how that’s Jackie’s business. No one in their right mind explains the intricacies of their financial situation, unless you are borrowing money. I didn’t see Jackie opening her checkbook to her “friend” who is in trouble. It seems to me that Jackie was looking for an excuse to be off Team Teresa and used this as a convenient way to get off that train. Also, Teresa is the bread winner and she is milking her fifteen minutes for what she can and I don’t see how that’s any of Jackie’s business, unless Jackie decides to support Teresa’s family financially. Jackie’s argument was ridiculous and just because Teresa is usually a cunt, doesn’t make her wrong in this situation.

    @derekhazelton I think the moment you sell stories to the tabloids about your finances, your legal troubles, your family, your children, appear on a reality show, are involved in a very public law suit and bankruptcy trial you lose your “privacy card”! If Tre wanted her life private she shouldn’t be telling the tabloids stories. I also don’t remember much sympathy for Danielles private life being dragged onto the show and Tre calling her a “whore” in front of her kids. If Tre can dish it out she better damn well be able to take it or get off the show and deal with her legal and financial issues like the rest of America. End of rant

    Hey Sunshine,two reasons. One I was having issues trying to set up a Discus account and I emailed tech support at RT twice and have yet to receive a response (it has been two weeks – rude). Also I installed Ghostery on my browser which made Discuss disappear. So I am sad to not be there, but I am okay not to have crap dumped on my computer for tracking purposes.

Maybe the producers think one of them will spontaneously turn evil and could become the back up villain. Because Teresa, if you haven’t noticed, is a cruller short of a dozen, and who knows what she might do?     If I had a friend who told me something and then I saw them say something totally different in print a week later I would wonder which story was the truth? How is that prying? That’s the point I don’t get when Theresa tries to say that. That isn’t a privacy issue. It’s telling one story to a friend and one other story to a tabloid. How is it prying to ask which story is the truth? That is the thing I just don’t get that Theresa is trying to make.

Jackie isn’t ‘questioning’ Teresa about her finances or selling stories, she’s actually applauded her hustle, she’s asking her why tf she’s always lying to her. BIG difference and a very valid thing for someone she calls her best friend to do. Teresa doesn’t give a shit about privacy! She’s in the business of selling lies and making up tales. Who the fuck says she just poses for covers and allows the magazine to make up lies and contribute them to her? Then she gets upset when people call her out on the bullshit she has signed her name to and calls them crazy for questioning her about it. Teresa is out of her mind and Jackie, as her friend, has every right to ask her why the hell she’s always lying to her.

    And offering to buy all her furniture if it’s auctioned off and giving it back to her, is indeed offering financial help to a friend, so there goes that argument.

    Totally agree with Clares and Fancyface. Teresa not only sells stories that completely contradict the facade she is desperately shoving down everyone’s throat but she also has the nerve to be extremely defensive when she is asked about such contradictions by her supposed close as family friend. And on top of that she expects Jacqueline to have her back and defend her to anyone else who dares to question the blatant contradictions she’s built her delusional little fairy tale upon. I mean come on, it was only a matter of time before anyone with more than a brain cell or two (which really is more than Theresa and Joe have put together) would either ask your friend what’s going on or completely distance yourself from someone who shows signs of being a delusional pathological lying moron. I’m baffled by any defense of Teresa to be honest. She’s definitely dumb enough to be pitied but way too mean spirited to be defended, in my opinion of course.

    Sorry for the slight repeat of what I said in minicap-

    Who cares if Jaq wants to dump Theresa? No one would blame her – even with the reasons she stated, OK go ahead and cut her off.

    But why does she need Caroline to come help? Why does she have to justify it in terms of her concern for Ter as a great friend to her? Why does she then cry and cry and try to smooth it over the next time she sees Ter? I think its a valid point about editing order but I could also see Ter giving Jaq a hug because she was so genuinely stunned and saw her little celebreality world crumbling. Having Caroline hate you used to be a big deal on this show. Ter looked panicked when she saw she was on the outs.

    Also look at Jaq’s history with Ashley-it is the same shit, putting up with bad behavior, boo-hooing endlessly, snarking nastily while saying you want it to improve, putting out big ultimatums and then going back on them and starting the cycle over. And getting people to help or deliver your message for you. Its annoying and if that’s how she wants to live, I don’t want it to be a storyline bc it makes for dodo bird tv.

    I am impressed that Kathy, Melissa and Midget all said the same thing- that they realized the fall-out was why Ter was reaching out suddenly but that they didn’t care. This would’ve been a great time to kick her while she was down so I was impressed.

    Caroline and Jaq are the opposite. Teresa has always been dumb, always been a liar, an aggrandizer, a problem-denier and they loved it before the chips were down. Now that Tre is destitute she is frustrating them by holding her head up (even idiodically) and especially in persisting to be more successful than them!

    Caroline is vile. Lauren is vile. The boys are pains but the convo dub was pretty funny. Great recap! I loved the captures of Caroline’s bitchface! Especially her snarl entering the party, guess she went to be supportive and have fun!

    The Manzos were casted as the stars of the show, with Dinar front and center. Teresa was meant to be a sidekick and Danielle unwittingly cast as the villain. Jump to season one finale and Teresa catapulted into reality Tv notoriety. And for the past two seasons, she has been the central focus.

    Caroline can’t take it. She wants her family front and center. She thinks her sons shoukd be the co-stars to her ‘wise matriarch’ persona but they’ve been eclipsed by Tree and her drama. I read a few articles online that the reason Jaqui and Caro went into attack mode is in hopes of getting Tree kicked off the show if they refuse to film with her. Her spiteful face would lack a nose because the ratings would drop considerably if the show were centered around Caro and her kids.

    @sarcasatire – nice analysis! I can see this being the case and just like RHONY, when the cast starts trying to manipulate who is on the show by refusing to film, etc, the show goes in the toilet and people get replaced!

    Also if they WERE successful in getting rid of Tre (impossibility), show would be canceled immediately. When Danielle left, RHONJ was dull as paint drying with Caroline and Jaq starting out as the focus the next season. Caroline should take notes from Bethenny- being the Greek chorus is a great position for the “smart, normal” one but you have to be funny, self-deprecating and above all – engage with other cast.

    I still don’t understand the vitriol toward Teresa regarding the articles. If she is broke and she is the breadwinner in her family, then she takes the bull by the horns and earns a living. Jackie blindsided her by “inviting” Caroline over, so I’m not sure what that has to do with her being a bitch the rest of the time. I understand Jackie asking Teresa about the articles as a friend, but when pushed and Teresa chooses not to disclose, why does Jackie take it so personally? It’s none of her fucking business and Teresa is clearly trying to get her finances back on track by any means necessary. All Jackie had to say is that she’s there for Teresa if needed, rather than trying to get all the gossip that she could. If Nene is still cashing her “Trump checks,” wouldn’t Teresa be doing the same thing? I’m sure the timing of this season was before her casting on Celebrity Apprentice, but wouldn’t she have made at least a half million for being in the top five or six?

    @Derek…NeNe was an idiot for bragging on her ‘Trump checks’ because it was COMPLETELY ridiculous b.s. lol. Yes they get paid for their time but they only pay them $20,000 or $30,000 (don’t want to say exactly because I’m not sure of the exact figure) for doing the entire show. They called her out on it at the reunion and her only defense of alluding to getting a huge sum for doing the show was ‘it didn’t matter’ because she was still VERY rich lol. All the money goes to charity & they just get an appearance fee & per diem. It’s nowhere near half a mil for ANY of them.

    And again, Jackie wasn’t trying to dig into Teresa’s finances & you continue to miss the point. Rewatch what Jackie says before Ter came over. She said, she’s confused about all the LIES Teresa is telling her. She tells Jackie one thing & she gives stories saying the complete opposite. She tells Jackie that her brother never tried to contact her after the pool party and once again, that was a lie. Teresa’s problem is all the horrible shit she said about her family was taken at her word, then they came on the show & people started to see the lies she was telling about them. Now that Jackie is able to verify or disprove what she says about them by actually talking to them, she sees how much Teresa lied about them and she’s watching her continue to do so. Her chilliness towards Ter’s family at the beginning of last season was very telling imo, as was Caroline’s. They were told how horrible these people were to Teresa and they wanted nothing to do with it, cut to them getting to know them and seeing Teresa lie to their faces & Ter’s bullshit started to unravel.

    Caroline’s an asshole but Teresa worked very hard to ruin that relationship & she shouldn’t be entirely to blame. While I think she’s completely full of shit, I do think Caroline’s biggest problem with Teresa has to do with her kids. She did insult Chris in her cookbook and I too think she blames her for whatever happened in PC. ALSO? Does anyone remember Joe saying her sons look like 2 ‘butt brothers’ or some vile shit like that because they were hugging each other in PC? And when Melissa defended them and said she prays her boys will be that close and said Caro did an amazing job, Teresa said something like ‘yeah right. just wait until they’re married and we’ll see’ or some dumb shit like that. I wouldn’t take that shit too kindly if it was said about my kids & I think shit like that plays into why Caro hates her so much.

    All of that has nothing to do with her finances, it has to do with her being a shitty person and lousy friend and THAT’S where the ‘vitriol’ towards her comes from. Not how much money she’s making.

    @Fancyface, I now understand where you’re coming from. I am new to the NJ and NY franchises (mainly so I can enjoy the WWC podcasts, although I always disagree with that Matt person). I can see that, for Jackie, being lied to is fucked up. But, IMHO, it is equally fucked up to confront a person and allow another person (Caroline) to pile on. Caroline should have had a separate conversation with Teresa, and let Jackie/Teresa hash out their problems with each other. In general, these women have so many problems with each other that it’s hard to keep track of everything going on. Someone should ask Flipit to make a flow chart of all the Real Housewife alliances/issues.

    @Derek….I SO AGREE!!!! WTF Caroline was doing there is beyond me & she did not need to be present. She took over the convo & made it all about herself & imo, she stopped them from really getting to the bottom of the issue and possibly working it out. I also suspect that Chris had more to do with the pop up visit than Jackie actually did because she looked a little annoyed when Caro walked in too. The shots of him eaves dropping looked like he was troubled by the convo but didn’t want to step in. I can totally see him calling Caroline to come back up Jackie. What’s even worse? That clown looked like she’d just rolled out of bed to come stir shit up. She looked like she had sleep marks on her face that she tried to spruce away lol.

    First off guys, we don’t see everything that is said, nor are we being shown a correct time line of events. That is how CA screwed itself. They don’t allow you to wear the same thing twice, so you can see the manipulations in the talking heads.

    I believe Chris was concerned because the Ashlee stuff just happened and obviously Jac doesn’t handle adversity very well. Can’t wait to hear about her moving back home during the reunion. I hope they bring it up.

    Derek I am going to assume from your name you are of the male species. You are never going to understand how messed up female friendships can be.

    So what we have is Jac reading the tabloids (and probably hearing rumors), and putting herself into Ter’s situation, looking at her life and freaking out and she is taking all of that and projecting it on to Teresa. I believe Jac is/does/was cares(d) for Teresa, her family and her situation. Jac is confused by Teresa’s refusal to ask for help. Jac wonders – I read you are in trouble, but when we talk, you (ter) say everything is fine. Why are you lying to me? I am your friend and here to help you. Teresa refuses to accept the fact she can’t do it all herself. She is so hell bent on shoving it everyone’s face she can do it. Jac knows her well enough to call her on her bullshit. Teresa doesn’t understand that is what friends will do from time to time and that is why they are your friends.

    Smash cut back to the scene with Ter talking to Joe in front of Gia about the cheating issues in the tabloids. Did you see Ter’s face? That was not an “everything is fine” face.

    Hopefully this made some sense.

    You totally can’t believe everything you read in those tabloids as well! Ter could say one thing and something else is printed or they twist what she says. Those women need to stop reading those tabloids. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Ter stretches the truth at times, but she didn’t need to get ambushed like that. Caro is AWFUL and needs to stay out of it.

    @Derek – also, the Jax and Theresa conversation was already at the 5 hour mark (per Jax’ blog on Bravo) BEFORE Caroline came over to the conversation. I am sure there was a lot of talking in circles due to Theresa’s inability to understand simple logic. And fancyface is correct – Caroline and Jax had been told by Thersa for years that her family was no good and that they tormented her over the years. Now that they have meet them for themselves they see what lies Theresa has been telling them for years. They were all set to not like them, but ended up making their own judgements.

    My guess is Bravo should probably start thinking about a spinoff. About an ordinary Lucille Ball style housewife. Just living her normal life of doing bankruptcy and a book tour. When all of a sudden her husband goes away!

    So now she’s got to face every day challenges alone. Like getting the chandelier up in the new garage. While balancing physical therapy with Midge and finding out Milania ate all the storks again.

    @Derek and @MrsMia — totes, totes agree. Also, Jaqs was asking about all this stuff on camera. Even if she really did want to clear things up with Tre, she couldn’t have expected her to be honest about it on tv.

    I love how so many people can see the same thing so differently! I feel that a true friend would not wait until cameras are rolling to inquire about her bff’s finances. Shoot, I’ve had the same friends for 20 years and we’re still friends probably because we don’t pry too much into each others affairs. Of course we’ve all been through things where we might be worried. We reach out, and let each other know we are there for them when they need to talk.

    I know of some friends who don’t speak the whole truth. I keep them at a distance and know what to expect from them. Not go in a depression mode and crying spell over them. I have my own life to deal with.

    I think all of these ladies are full of it…They all have something shady/legal going on in their households. The issue I have with the last two seasons is that you only see Teresa’s issues. It’s all everyone talks about. Put everyone else sh_t out there and see how they all react in the “hot seat”. Balance is good, right?

    Hey– here’s a thought– The Trump checks were for the charities all contestants play for. It it possible that Tre and Nene are the heads of their charities and as such pay themselves???????

    good point about the Manzo kids. SNOOZEFEST. They have no point on the show.
    I think Mama Manzo (and the rest of them) insist they stay on the show, in hopes of becoming the next Bethanny Frankel by pushing their Blk Water, Makup Line, Boutique, ill-fated radio advise show, and whatever the hell else they are trying to sell.

    Guess what? If it hasnt happened by now, it aint gonna happen. GO AWAY ALREADY
