Robyn hasn’t cried yet, but the next question nips that right in the bud!. Since she’s been divorced once, how does she feel about divorce in general? Robyn says she did her best to try and stay in the marriage she was in. She then gets very emotional but forges on. Divorce is not easy for kids; she was a child of divorce, and she tried really hard to save her marriage for her kids’ sake. Robyn sagely remarks that sometimes parents are better when they are apart than they are together – that’s the truth. She thinks it should be considered on a case-by-case basis. Kody’s dad taught him that women have the right to seek divorce if their husband is not treating the wife well. His bottom line is that people need to do what makes them happy.
LAST QUESTION! What are their hopes for the future for the kids and the adults? Janelle has a vision of all the children getting a college education and bringing home grandkids for the holidays. Four house in the same cul-de-sac, big backyards. Huge Brown family Christmas with kids, grandkids, and lots of college educations. Also, everyone is happy! Kody says that they want the kids to be educated and marry the right person for them, but everything else they get to fill in. AWW.
And we’re at the end! Good grief! Was it just me, or was this episode both boring and painful to sit through? And WHAT is up with Robyn? I used to think Christine was overreacting about a lot of things, but if Robyn has been acting like the Kody expert for a while, I have a lot more sympathy for Christine’s position. More than one person noted in the comments section for the last recap that they think Robyn knows EXACTLY what she’s doing and is more manipulative / crafty than she’s gotten credit for in the past. After the Q&A, what do you guys think? Did you want to slap the shit out of everyone, or am I just a cranky bitch?
