The family sees off the brothers, and I’m even feeling a little sad to see them go. I think I need a nap.
Nooooooo! Don’t leave!! Your loving bonds and camaraderie are giving me warm fuzzies! I don’t want to go back to sad-sack episodes of this show!!
Time to meet with Mona. The family is not going to finance the three homes in the cul-de-sac at 40% down because that is insane. Mona is now looking at the lots in a cul-de-sac at the other end of the street. This plan buys them time to repair their credit scores and a much smaller down payment. The family is tentatively hopeful. Christine doesn’t know if she can bear getting disappointed again, so she’s not going to go down that path.
This is what tentatively hopeful looks like. Incidentally, this is also what playing “bus driver” looks like.
That brings us to the end of Part One of our two part recap! What did you think of this episode? Did you enjoy the more positive vibes, or are you so over Kody that no amount of family love and bonding can reach you? What did you think of Kody’s brothers? Would you display Erica’s Bird Poop masterpiece in your home?
