Sons of Anarchy: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Bodily Fluids!

When Bobby points out that the sale can’t happen there in Charming, Nero tells Jax about a good, deserted place outside town they can meet later for the gun/money exchange.

At Teller-Morrow, Clay pulls in up in a beautiful black SS and sees Chucky carrying some storage boxes.  He asks what’s going on and Chucky tells him he’s bringing them to Gemma.  She’s in the clubhouse with other boxes and papers spread around her, and when Chucky comes in, she thanks him and asks him to take some other boxes she’s done searching back to the shed.  He says he will in his new rhyming Tourette’s.  Juice is in the garage, and when he sees Clay going into the clubhouse, he hurriedly gets on his bike and heads over to Clay’s to do some quick searching.

Clay asks Gemma what’s going on, and she answers that Thomas’s birthday is coming up and she wants to find his original birth certificate to comfort herself.  She knows the certificate was in the safe that was stolen from their house with all the other paperwork, but she thinks there might have been one certificate mixed in with all the T-M paperwork.  Clay plays dumb and offers to take her to the County Clerk to get a new one, but Gemma says she wants the original.  Clay takes a call on his cell and leaves, saying, “I hope you find it.”

Well, that didn’t work … guess I have to fuck him again.

Tara’s at St. Thomas and visits Unser, who has just finished his chemo treatment.  He wants to get out of there and she offers to bring him along while she feeds the boys at the hospital daycare.

That silly daycare staff never cuts Thomas’s Vienna sausages into small enough pieces.  I know he’s almost fifteen now, but he could choke!

Poor Unser is obviously feeling nauseated and not-so-hot as he rises from his treatment chair.  Tara, thrilled to be needed, is appropriately medical/maternal in her comfort of Unser.  They walk together down the hall, but Unser needs to sit and rest a bit again, so they have a seat and chat in the hall.  It’s really sweet and he offers to be Tara’s sounding board (it’s kind of a thing with him).  As she’s spilling her guts and crying about her uncertainty about the future,

Unser has to spill his in the nearest trash can.

She offers him a tissue to clean up as she’s mopping up her own tears and snot, and they both have a good laugh.  Yum!!!  Please make sure to use the anti-bac before touching T&A at daycare.

We find out the call Clay received was from Romeo, and he’s meeting with him and Luis at a junkyard.  Romeo tells him that Otto killed a nurse and RICO is now dead.  Romeo shows him his CIA badge and tells Clay he was right about him being a fed.

NCS stands for “No Comprendo, Stupid.”

I think the actress who played the nurse is Donal Logue’s real life sister. So I guess, he is also portraying her brother here. And I’m a little confused about the whole documents situation. If these documents could prove, that Clay is Jax’s Dad – why would Gemma help Jax to find those documents? That wouldn’t help her building a better relationship with her son again.
To the Bobby-Clay situation: a lot of people are speculating that JT isn’t dead. Maybe the whole death situation was a setup to let JT walk away from the club without any harm and Bobby is one of the very few who know about this. Maybe he wants to protect Jax to kill Clay over something that never happend. Clay has done all kinds of wrong, but killing JT might not be one of those things.

I think Donal Logue’s character is related to the nurse that Otto killed..they both were listed with the same last name in the credits. Thanks for the recap..the show is so violent but your recaps make me laugh!
I wonder if Jax is going to try and save Tig from Pope ..can’t wait for this Tuesday!

I don’t think JT is alive, because I think Maureen over in Ireland would be aware of that. I can’t belive that if Clay was Jax’s father that they would have put it on the birth certificate so not sure what else that paperwork will prove. (beside the tie to the Nomads)

I agree with you, Violet, they wouldn’t be so stupid to put Clays name on those birth certificates if he was Jax’ real father.
I also think, the father-son storyline is a distraction from something else. There are hints since Season One, that Clay MIGHT be Jax’ biological father. But this season is really rubbing it in. So I think, it would to obvious to take that road. It is getting tiresome just like the whole paperwark storyline in general. Really? There is no other way to prove (or at least convince everyone) that Clay was behind the home invasions? Okay, it took a complete stranger to point it out to Jax that he should be looking inside the club. Is it just me or would an earlier seasons-Jax have been smarter and figured it out by himself?

But I’m not so sure about JT. If he isn’t dead and he was able to walk away from the club, maybe he wanted to cut off all the ties to it – even Maureen. Maybe that was even a requirement. I’m just grasping at straws here. This season is so confusing and I’m trying to put some sense into it – for my own inner peace.
If Jax is smart he will convince Clay to kill Pope (promising to step down as president or whatever …). This way he will have his revenge for Opie and, because of Pope’s own kind of life insurance, he would also get rid of Clay. And if he kills Clay in the aftermath of Popes death, Jax would also be rich…

There is a spoiler on the EW recap that says who Donal Logue’s character is in case you can’t wait.
I wonder what Jax is going to do about Tig, their exchange this week made my stomach turn… “Still love me Tiggy?” ACK! Can’t wait for next week.

I really hope that Clay isn’t Jax’s bio father, but there are too many context clues to ignore!

Can’t believe Gemma told Nero she lived him. I live their storyline and I hope K. Sutter keeps it going into next season.

Greenmonster – I agree with you. If John is still alive, he would probably have to cut ties with everyone, including Maureen. Maybe if she knew he was alive, it would put her in danger.
