Sons of Anarchy: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Bodily Fluids!

At Stockton, Donal Logue is visiting Otto in a visiting room, in an official capacity.

You can tell because he’s wearing his official glasses and official ponytail.

He tells Otto he’s not a fed, just a private citizen who wants something from Otto.  Apparently, it’s pain.  He tells Otto that the rest of his short life will be full of it.  Is Donal supposed to be LuAnn’s brother or something?  Or No Nonsense’s grieving widower?  We’ll have to wait to find out, apparently.

At Clay’s, Juice is frantically looking for those documents.

Clay is still looking for a housekeeper, I guess.

After looking in vain in various places, Juice remembers what Dexter would do and looks up at the air vent in the ceiling.

At The Dynasty, we find out a lot.  Lin’s first name is Henry!

“Henry” is Mandarin for, “Oh, now that you want something, we’re on a first name basis?”

Jax wants Lin’s crew to take over bringing guns to Romeo.  After a lot of negotiation, including Jax telling Lin to charge Romeo an extra 10% for SAMCRO (their referral fee), Jax and Bobby get Lin to agree to take over the guns so SAMCRO can stop bringing Irish guns to Romeo.  Just before they leave, Jax gets a call from Juice, saying he found the papers in Clay’s air vent.  Jax instructs him to bring Chibs, Tig, Happy and Clay back to Clay’s house to wait for him and Bobby to get back.  Under no circumstances is Clay supposed to be left alone in the house, Jax tells Juice … so we all know what’s going to happen.

On their way back to Charming, an SUV and child molester van block Jax and Bobby in on the street and grab Jax.  The guys push over Jaxs bike and slash Bobby’s tire.  Then they bundle Jax into the van and drive off, guns on Bobby the whole time.  Wisely, Jax doesn’t pull a Tara and get his hand slammed in the van door, though he tries.  You think surgery’s hard with a busted hand?  Try riding a Harley with no manual dexterity!

At Clay’s, everyone’s waiting impatiently for Jax to show up and Juice has no answer for all their questions about what the meeting is about.  Bobby calls Chibs and tells them that the Mexicans took Jax, and that he’s already called Nero to check into his crew to see if they took him.  Bobby tells everyone to get to the clubhouse pronto.  Clay shoves (literally) everyone out the door, even Juice, who tries to stay.  Clay slams the door on him, saying he forgot to take his meds.

I keep my pills in the air vent, next to the documents from the safe.

I think the actress who played the nurse is Donal Logue’s real life sister. So I guess, he is also portraying her brother here. And I’m a little confused about the whole documents situation. If these documents could prove, that Clay is Jax’s Dad – why would Gemma help Jax to find those documents? That wouldn’t help her building a better relationship with her son again.
To the Bobby-Clay situation: a lot of people are speculating that JT isn’t dead. Maybe the whole death situation was a setup to let JT walk away from the club without any harm and Bobby is one of the very few who know about this. Maybe he wants to protect Jax to kill Clay over something that never happend. Clay has done all kinds of wrong, but killing JT might not be one of those things.

I think Donal Logue’s character is related to the nurse that Otto killed..they both were listed with the same last name in the credits. Thanks for the recap..the show is so violent but your recaps make me laugh!
I wonder if Jax is going to try and save Tig from Pope ..can’t wait for this Tuesday!

I don’t think JT is alive, because I think Maureen over in Ireland would be aware of that. I can’t belive that if Clay was Jax’s father that they would have put it on the birth certificate so not sure what else that paperwork will prove. (beside the tie to the Nomads)

I agree with you, Violet, they wouldn’t be so stupid to put Clays name on those birth certificates if he was Jax’ real father.
I also think, the father-son storyline is a distraction from something else. There are hints since Season One, that Clay MIGHT be Jax’ biological father. But this season is really rubbing it in. So I think, it would to obvious to take that road. It is getting tiresome just like the whole paperwark storyline in general. Really? There is no other way to prove (or at least convince everyone) that Clay was behind the home invasions? Okay, it took a complete stranger to point it out to Jax that he should be looking inside the club. Is it just me or would an earlier seasons-Jax have been smarter and figured it out by himself?

But I’m not so sure about JT. If he isn’t dead and he was able to walk away from the club, maybe he wanted to cut off all the ties to it – even Maureen. Maybe that was even a requirement. I’m just grasping at straws here. This season is so confusing and I’m trying to put some sense into it – for my own inner peace.
If Jax is smart he will convince Clay to kill Pope (promising to step down as president or whatever …). This way he will have his revenge for Opie and, because of Pope’s own kind of life insurance, he would also get rid of Clay. And if he kills Clay in the aftermath of Popes death, Jax would also be rich…

There is a spoiler on the EW recap that says who Donal Logue’s character is in case you can’t wait.
I wonder what Jax is going to do about Tig, their exchange this week made my stomach turn… “Still love me Tiggy?” ACK! Can’t wait for next week.

I really hope that Clay isn’t Jax’s bio father, but there are too many context clues to ignore!

Can’t believe Gemma told Nero she lived him. I live their storyline and I hope K. Sutter keeps it going into next season.

Greenmonster – I agree with you. If John is still alive, he would probably have to cut ties with everyone, including Maureen. Maybe if she knew he was alive, it would put her in danger.
