It’s just about 2 AM but my (and EdHill’s) entire home state is celebrating yet another victory by my alma mater’s basketball team. They like to make it adventurous, that’s for sure. And since my bracket was crap at this time a week ago, and since I’ve been enjoying a few beers, and since I have the power to gloat to thousands via TVgasm…
U!-C!-O!-N!-N! UCONN! UCONN! UCONN!

A few more March Madness observations after the jump.

It’s so sad when towel boys cry. Better luck next year UW.

Which is worse: Losing before the Final Four again or having this picture on espn.com’s front page?

What was up with this BC assistant’s hair? Oh wait, I know where I’ve seen that before:

baby-dub! Right this very moment.

And finally: Duke and the entire ACC sucks. Peace.

Oh sh_t….I better finish typing this fast. Now that Marcus Williams is finished with his game for the night, I’m not sure my laptop is safe.

Nice no call on the goaltend near the end…..

Could UCONN be any more nonchalant for the first 35 minutes of every freakin’ game….damn them and their talent.

sg-dub, you rub salt in wounds. Eat one.

Hey listen… I’m one of the 2% of people here who thought Marcus Williams deserved to be booted from the team. I can’t stand the way they loaf around dreaming of their millions and not really giving a crap about the game at hand.

the refs sucked this game – both ways. But refs always suck.

And I’m from Philly and my teams NEVER win. Never. So give me some leeway.

As a Steelers fan, I understand all about gloating. Good for you sg-dub! Does baby dub have a UCONN jersey yet?

Can we all please agree that Rudy Gay is the most over hyped, over rated thing since the Segway? Sliced bread he ain’t. It would be SOOO gay if he went to the NBA this year. And could someone please go up behind Josh “Pansy Hands” Boone and slice off those cat shit tendrils of his?

Sorry, but I have to root for George Mason (Memorial) University over UConn. To think, someone named a college after a character on 24!!! George is da’ bomb!!! *literally*

I like Jim Calhoun but I serisouly HATE his players this year- UConn is my Duke and I hope they get shut down in the final four.

Ref’s or not, my (udub) dawgs had it won. They pretty well dominated but couldn’t close the deal. Shades of ’98 all over again…damn you UCON(s).

I hate UCONN & DUKE. Glad DUKE went down early (how ‘sweet’ it was!) UCONN next? I sure hope so but don’t expect them to do so (weaker bracket). Either LSU or UCLA will neuter the Huskies.

After the end of regulation I was convinced that Denham Brown, like EdHill, was truly worthy of my remote lust and adoration. I’m reconsidering. And he’s got to do something about that neck.

Phew, glad the left coast huskies didn’t have to suffer the indignity of a loss to an 11 seed. Much better the way it worked out.

    Hey UCONN, SUCK IT!

The humiliation! Oh so sad for the huskies…NOT! I was hoping the Tigers would neuter the Huskies (with that amazing LSU frontcourt.) Good riddance Huskies. See ya next year!

    milostea –

Were you as excited for LSU to beat UConn on January 7th (of this year) as well?

God I really thought that three was going to go in at the end of overtime in the Mason/Uconn game. Seriously, I think it took two years of my life. But as a Mason alum I couldn’t be happier. Esp. since that team sucked the entire time I was in college.

My husband and I found Adam Morrison’s temper tantrum at the end of the Gonzaga/UCLA game to be really annoying. Seriously, I’ve seen guys crying after games before and I understand that, but that was just pathetic really. He just needed to lay back and kick his legs up in the air the big cry baby.
