   Malcolm does look like JESUS.

   Uh, that evil LISA was going to stab Malcolm in the back after he picked her to spend time with “Brother Wenchel?”

   @Mr. D, Lisa was going to stab Malcolm in the back three episodes ago, if Pete had believed her about the Idol at the time. Plus, Lisa can’t win in a final three with Denise and Malcolm (although I’m not sure if she could beat Skupin in a final three with Abi).

   I didn’t feel bad for the person who left because that person is extremely vacant.

   Family Observations…
   Denise wears the pants in the family and the dildos too. Clearly a role reversal in that marriage.
   Carter’s mom seemed nice/normal with the exception of the fact the that she bore Carter from a sex with her brother – my God he gets more inbred looking by the minute
   Lisa – channeled her inner Angelina as I could have sworn I saw tongue when she attcked/dry humped her brother. New meaning to And Justice for All!
   Abi – Despite the fact that her mom was an Olympic shot puter for Brazil she just couldn’t get it together. Producer retribution for handing her immunity last week.
   Skupin – I hope that kid is an only child because if not the Skupin siblings just got their self esteem shredded.
   Malcom – Did his brother ever manage to complete a full sentence – Malcom obv got the brains & looks.

   Is Penner aware that it is OK to shower and get cleaned up once you are voted off.

   Love the idea that the challenge producers stole a challenge from one of my favorite Brady Bunch episodes. When they are locked in the Wild West Ghost Town Jail and have to get the key off the hook. Now 2 of my fave shows are forever inter-twined – YEA!

   I was 100% on board with Lisa & Skupin’s plan to blindside Malcolm …… UNTIL the prayer circle.
   Post prayer circle, I rooted for Malcolm to win immunity for the first time ever in this game. TAKE THAT prayer circle!

   But at least we know now that Jesus wants MALCOLM to win the game, so Lisa and Skupin should do everything they can to make god’s will come about. Right? I’m still a little unclear on how all this works…

   Watching Carter’s mom straddle him was a little strange. And then when I realized she was a midget, I felt a little bad about laughing at her.

   I love how Abi’s getting her ego kicked to shit. Wonder how she feels knowing what the rest of us think of her too? Can’t wait ’til the reunion!

   But that would be Portuguese, not Spanish. They’re Brazilian, after all.

   @crankyguy – Jesus wanted Malcolm to mock the prayer circle and win immunity. Remember everything that happens, no matter the outcome, is what Jesus wants. Just like Jesus wanted me to eat an entire box of candy canes for lunch. (I am not knocking their faith, I am making fun of the fact that they are doing the God/Jesus thing on Survivor: Deluxe Camping.)

   I always wonder this – Let’s say there is only one sleep between the last tribal and the family reward. That is not a lot of time to fly out the family members. I wonder if they give the call to the family members once it is down to 8 players. That means there are some family members that don’t get to come on the show. Even then, are the family members just put on alert when the players fly off to the island that some time in the next month and a half, they will get a phone call in the middle of the night and fly half way around the world (I forget where this season is and am too lazy to look it up) for 6 hours then hop back on a flight home. The logistics behind the family visit always interest me.

   I died when skupin’s son almost fell on his face running in. Like laughed out loud at my tv by myself. And every time carter talked all I pictured was simple jack from tropic thunder.

    You would think Lisa would get the hint … every time she decides to “play the game” and “make a big move” God puts the kibosh on it.

    I agree that Denise’s likelihood of winning the game just shot up. After Malcolm won immunity, why didn’t they blindside her and keep mouth-breathing Carter? That’s either a testament to how good Denise is at keeping herself off the radar, or how stupid Lisa and Skupin are. Carter may be physical, but that’s it. Denise is the whole package, and the next biggest threat next to Malcolm.

    I have loved the country of Brazil since I had to do a report on them when I was in 5th grade. (Heck, it even got me to speak Portuguese.) There are many good things about Brazil: My best friend is from there, Carnival, gorgeous weather, bossa nova, beaches, beautiful women, and caipirinhas.

    Bad things about Brazil: HOT and Scabby. She almost makes you swear off going to Brazil.

    (Pardon the sporadic posting. I am too tired. And PottyMouth, I have been reading a while but I haven’t commented. Let me just say, I love being able to read your recaps again!)

    PottyMouth, I too miss the gross food contests. It was too much fun to watch them gag and retch trying tp down really disgusting “foods.”

    Meantime, I find it fascinating watching Lisa twist and turn with the whole “I gave my word” thing — only to decide (and because of a guy named Justice no less!) that, in fact, her word means squat after all.

    All the while Justice was there I kept wondering if he’d been raised by the hot sauce method. And what the fuck is with this “Sister!” crap? Are they part of some weird Amish sect?

    I think Abi’s already figured out she’s the goat being carried to the end — what does she get, 100 grand? Not so terrible either. That’s why she’s pretty much given up trying on the competitions.

    Itchy, Lisa is a two faced hypocrite. Always has been.

    She is a terrible actress, too. She said “I CAN FINALLY PLAY THE GAME NOW”! as if her brother opened her eyes to the game and it just dawned on her how to play and she will always and forevermore have Justice to blame if it doesn’t work out.

    That whole “Sister! Sister!” thing weirded me out, too. I think the next time I see my brother, I’m going to charge him while yelling “Brother! Brother!” just to see the horrified look on his face.

    Who cares if Lisa is a hypocrite or not? Would you rather someone just be complacent and march toward a loss or actually make an effort to win? We already knew her word was basically shit when she tried to go against Malcolm originally, so why would it be a surprise now? And, Malcolm knew that there was a chance that a blindside was coming so winning immunity became more important. We’ve seen so many Survivor players get down to the final 5 or 6 and wait to be voted off (like the person who was voted off this week), so it’s nice to see her make an effort, although she wouldn’t have to make it had Pete not been a moron.

    This is survivor – they’re all hypocrites. Malcolm needed Lisa to get rid of a much bigger threat – Penner. Now he (and Denise) have a good chance to win. What Jesus really wants is an entertaining season for the audience – thanks God!

    Hey guys,

    Just want to throw out there that all my in-laws and also my best friends family all refer to their siblings as “sister/brother” instead of calling them by their names…it’s cultural (in this case, they’re from Newfoundland, Canada)…

    At first I thought it was weird too…but now I find it just so endearing that I wish we did that my family growing up too!

    Oh how I wish my brother would refer to me as “sister” instead of “smelly mcsmell”. sigh…

    I don’t know what those people are practicing over there, but Christianity (the real one) has nothing to do with greed, deceiving, lying, etc . Embarrasses me to see that.

    Yeah, I know her word is worth nothing and it is never fun to watch a complacent player like Carter, for example.

    I don’t even mind a hypocrit on a reality show. They are necessary sometimes and there are just as many dollars as there are ways to play the game. I get that.

    Perhaps my distaste for her is not so much about being a hypocrit and more to do with the fact that I feel as though I am watching a promo for a future show about a Godly ex child star who is Godly everytime she has face time with the camera.

    I prefer to see the average Joe or Jolene win a million as opposed to an old child star that is trying to look nice and is faltering and is expecting a show from a show. After all after taxes, a million dollars dosen’t buy alot of hot sauce so you have to have a back up plan.

    Sorry Gasmi! I got screwed over and had to work this weekend because of an asshole coworker!!! So I scheduled my afternoon with fake meetings to finish the recap!! Shhhhhh……don’t tell.

    Just finished it up and submitted, so it should be up shortly. Sorry again!! I’ve already got fake time on my calendar on Friday for our almost finale episode!!!

    Thanks for the new recap PottyMouth. I have looked forward to it, too. I can’t wait to read what folks think about this episode. Yikes! It was sometimes hilarious.

    I know that I have much to say and I am looking forward to reading what dani behr has to say considering she was looking forward to the full recap too
