    The funniest recaps, posted in a timely manner…No “country club” attitude…No having to consult the Chicago Style Guide before leaving a comment…TVgasm, quite simply, rules all ass. And I say that without pity for the competition.

    Funny story.

    I thought Jash’s name rang a bell so I did a google search consisting of “Jash” and “TVGasm” and I got back 5 links. 4 were basically the post where Jash and B-side took pictures of Victoria and Jonathan at an airport, and the fifth link was a collection of hand job videos.

    This time last year, I was pregnant, worried, and could not sleep for looking like the Lusitania. I believe I stumbled on the 2004 coverage of the Tonys with Hugh Jassman early one morning and the rest is history. God bless tvGasm, my baby is happy, healthy and snark ready. Jash just doesn’t get it. Whadda maroon!

    I don’t remember how I found out about this blog, but let me tell you, it has saved my life. I have been out of the US for 3 months and didn’t know how I’d survive without Laguna Beach.(Sidenote: Also nip/tuck and Gilmore Girls, both of which you all do not review. Sadly, I had to find other blogs for those shows. ) Instead of channel surfing and watching embarassing reality tv, I merely READ Real World and Making the Band recaps. Surely, reading them must be more intellectual than actually watching them. Now when I go back home, I can pretend that television is so passe and that I am “over” American TV because I “survived” 3 months without it. Thank you tvgasm for making me a pseudo- European pretentious snob!

    I too don’t remember how I stumbled upon TVgasm, but boy am I glad I did. Countless hours have been wasted reading recaps and the thousands of witty comments.

    Sometimes when I’m home I have to restrain myself from going to the site so that I leave myself a pleasant surprise in the morning at work.

    This is all well and good (just kidding, I am very excited for you TVgasm, you lured me in with your Laguna recaps)..but anyway might I suggest the time has come to start recapping Trading Spouses and/or Wife Swap??? Last night’s episode of Trading Spouses was pure comedy. A rich white woman from suburban MA sent to Harlem, where we learned she 1. refused to cross the street to get coffee until she saw another white person and 2. had not one clue who Malcolm X was (they crossed a street named Malcolm X Blvd. and she asked, dead serious, who he was, and showed no signs of embarassment when the family was like ummmmm how do you not know who Malcolm X is…..) Clearly this show needs to be recapped by the genuises at TVgasm. C’mon EdHill……you know you want to!!!!

    so when are you guys going to start up a tvgasm edition of blind date? that sounds like the greatest sign of the apocolypse ever…and personally, i’d like to see EdHill’s geriatric ass out on the town with LizardQueen doing something fun and spontaneous like tai chi or perhaps getting hammered and naked in the middle of a club in LA.

    anyway, all joking aside, congrats. you guys totally help my work day pass quickly, and i constantly have to bite my lip not to get caught with you at work. scandalous.

    I had to run here and say, thank you, TVGasm, THANK YOU for allowing actual commentary and conversation in your comments! I just got banned at one of your competitor sites… the sentences that got me banned? I said, “I cannot help but laugh.” That got me banned for being an “obnoxious gasbag” in the words of one moderator… and in the same post, I wrote, “Come ON.” That got me banned by another moderator for being too harsh in tone. I wish I was kidding. TVGASM, THANK YOU for not being so judgmental!
