Teen Mom 2 Minicap: Finale and Dr. Drew’s Unseen Moments

It’s virtually impossible to do a minicap for over 3 hours of Teen Mom 2. So I have decided to just keep working on the full recap of all 3 hours.

Be patient with me and I will do my best to finish up soon.

GED results, paternity test results, IUD stories, and a video montage of Dr. Drew’s continued failures.

Knowing nothing about IUD’s – can you just pop them out ala contact lenses OR do they have to be scheduled to be removed? By the way she had a baby girl Monday 2/4.

Good thing she dropped out of nursing school to spend time with her special needs daughter – there is no way an infant should interfere with all that – plus UNPACKING and setting up a nursery.

Was shocked at Corey’s dramatics? Really Cor -it’s the town whore you are boo hooing over. Leah keeps saying “All I want is a family” – last time I checked she has a family (albeit a small gnome like one). If anybody should/could use that story it is Kail who has a family of one.

I can’t watch this trainwreck so I’m eagerly awaiting the results of that paternity test. Who is really the father of Jenelle’s baby – enquiring minds want to know…

My money’s on her former employer who tweeted the pic of her self stimulating.

@Considerthis – IUDs are inserted and removed by doctors. This wasn’t one of those “”Oh, I’ll skip the watch today”" thing. This was a decision that involved an appointment and a babysitter. That girl is a how-to in witless behaviour. Unfortunately, she’s got kids.

Considerthis: I have an IUD and you have to schedule and appointment to have it removed. I would have LOVED to have seen that conversation with her OB/GYN: A teenaged, divorced mother of 2 (who is still trying to figure out what is wrong with her one baby) telling him/her that she wanted to remove her birth control to get pregnant again.

I really want to know Jeremy’s issue too. Isn’t it going to be hard enough to suddenly be a step-father to two toddlers and now he wants an infant as well? Of course he’s gone 6 days out of the week, so I guess he doesn’t really have to deal with them much.

You know how they say the brain is still developing until you’re 25? When I was 20, I didn’t believe that. Now I totally do.

Yeah, that must have been one interesting conversation. I wonder what kind of “logic” she used on the OB/GYN?

Why weren’t the MTV cameras rolling when Leah made the appointment to have her birth control removed? Wonder who provides her health insurance coverage MTV? or do we the taxpayer? Where the fuck was Dr. Drew then?

Also noticed she upgraded (AGAIN) to a beauty white brand new leather seated Chevy Suburban. But at the rate she is birthin kids her next purchase will be the Partridge Family bus. C’mon get horny….

I have heard of some girls skipping the gyno and taking an IUD out themselves. They just reach on up, grab a hold of the strings and yank that sucky out.

The thought of it being done that way makes me shudder.

According to some gossip site I was reading, she got preggo *with the IUD still inside*. They had to make up the part of the storyline where she got it out/ wanted another child right away in order to cover for one of the show’s major sponsor’s and provider of her IUD, Mirena. Even in the Mirena commercial it says you can still get pregnant with it in, and the removal can cause loss of pregnancy. Which is what I think happened- she got pregnant, had it removed, then lost the baby. But this is all based on hearsay, so I might not actually know what I’m talking about…. :/

8 – @CrisB83 – I have a Mirena (I know, TMI, but after what we’ve seen with these girls….) and let me tell you there is a 1% chance of pregnancy with it in your system. I love this thing. Most likely the doctor didn’t allow cameras into the office for the purpose of patient privacy. And the Mirena gives you 5 years of birth control (and I think there’s one for 10 years) so I’m banking on Leah having had it taken out. Mirena is plastic like and in the shape of a Y (sort of) and has no strings. I don’t see how she could have possibly pulled it out considering its embedded deep into the uterus. Your doctor has to put it in, its not like a tampon.
My friend has had hers for 5 years and recently replaced it, and has had many oops moments with her SO but has not gotten pregnant. This is specifically why I got it so I wouldn’t get knocked up again (have 2 boys, very happy with my family). Leah cannot sit here and just claim to have decided to remove it, she hasn’t had no reason to because it hasn’t been long enough and you’re going to tell me that being married to Cory she was using protection? I can’t see that. She intended on getting pregnant. Removal, just as insertion, still requires a doctor’s visit. It’s not a sudden decision. It doesn’t just fall out either, LOL, unless your doctor is a git.

cloudsinmycoffee: I’m also really wondering if she actually got pregnant with her IUD in. I also have a Mirena and it’s actually 99.8% effective, so .2% failure rate…not even 1%! For reference, getting your tubes tied is 99.5% effective – less than the Mirena. Maybe she actually is in that .2% though, who knows. Maybe it wasn’t inserted right or partially expelled, but still the odds are crazy if she got pregnant with it in.
