Well, the upside is that MTV and Chelsea Houska aren’t 100% responsible for the death of the world’s cutest dog… the downside is that the world’s cutest dog is no longer with us. RIP Sweet Frankie!
I am finishing up the full recap, but ran a little behind due to a long weekend in Vegas. What happens in Vegas, does truly stay in Vegas… because my Savings Account and my husband are still there. One of them is working… the other one is my Savings Account.
This week… Jenelle moves in with her friend, Amber, and Amber’s son. Their rent will be $750. Barb approves. Mike and Barb help her move for the second time in a month. Jenelle drops out of college. Barb does not approve. Jenelle said she had to drop out because she didn’t have time to unpack. I will touch on this in greater detail in the full recap.
Kailyn’s friend buys her Subway and her mom sneaks over to Slo-Jos to visit Isaac. Kailyn is not happy. Her mom is the worst mother ever. She makes Jenelle look downright perfect.
Leah tells Jeremy that she picked him over Corey. For now. They decide to move in together. Their rent is $750, too. I hate the scene where Leah and the girls call Jeremy and she makes the girls tell Jeremy that they love him. It’s too soon. She should have made them say something like “my mom is desperate for male attention”.
Chelsea tries to take her math pre-test, but instead her dog, Frankie, is attacked by a Husky and doesn’t make it. It’s awful. So is Aubree’s hair, but it’s not as fun to write about that because it’s a very sad scene. Chelsea finally passes the math pre-test (she got a 60%) and because of the dog I have to be happy for her.
Even the closing photo montage is rather upbeat… but there is plenty in the episode to discuss… but not as much evil as I like. But together, I’m sure we can find some things to discuss.

Only know this show because of recaps, but I saw Jenelle is expecting again. That is seriously messed up. http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/jenelle-evans-confirms-second-pregnancy-debuts-baby-bump-in-bra-2013171
Sterilization? She deserves an exemption for her age.
I feel sooo bad for Jace and Barbara.
Neither have custody of their first children and he named his daughter JaJa! She’s been off weed for 8 weeks and is 7 weeks pregnant – see what happens when you stop doing drugs. Hope Barb is ready for #2.
ha @considerthis i was going to say the same thing about barb! his daughter’s name is Jordan but he calls her JaJa
I wish my friends would bring me Subway!!!
Oh Jenelle….I’m 31 and want a baby, but I’m not a whore and don’t sleep with people I just met. Life isn’t fair. Can DCFS be called the second she tests positive for weed while pregnant please?.
I just fast forward through Leah’s parts of the episode now. She isn’t worth my time.
This was beyond upsetting….if my dog was being attacked I would do everything possible to save it. And no one from the MTV crew felt the need to step in?? Everyone just stood around and watched this poor dog be killed? I don’t care if it costs me my job- I would have used the camera or anything I had to beat the dog that was attacking Frankie. Chelsea is a f-ing itdiot to let it run loose in the first place……
@dallasboo – part of me agrees with you… but i have two opinions on this… 1. we used to have a husky and it could be very intimidating and my sister and i would climb a fence and pour it’s food over the wall bc we were positive it was a wolf. and 2. my current neighbors have a husky and we had a kitten that got outside and scaled the privacy fence and within seconds, the husky got ahold of it and killed it.
The dog should have been on a leash. My kitten shouldn’t have snuck out. But I agree with Randiculous, thank goodness it wasn’t Aubree back there… there comes a point with some animals that no amount of human intervention will stop it for finishing off the kill.
but yes, she’s an idiot. regardless of the dog… and her baby voice would have made me run away too.
having trouble with the full recap… mentally, not technically.
Didn’t Janelle already part ways with the husband? Is she back with him now that she is knocked up? I can’t keep up.
Oh and from the previews, it looks like Keifer is back next week! I sure hope he is wearing that same pair of board shorts!!
Leah is so pathetic.
I don’t think the MTV people let it happen. If they were following her then they would have seen what happened as she did and at that point I’m sure that there was nothing they could do.
Also if it’s a big vicious dog then you put yourself in danger also, Aubrey was outside with Chelsea so she wasn’t going to go and try to help the dog.
Frankie should have been on a leash if you know a “mean dog” lives in your neighborhood. Judge Judy says it all the time.
You can learn so many life lessons from Judge Judy.
did i misinterpret the conversation chelsea had with her dad? the way she referred to frankie as “it”, i assumed the dog was already dead by the time she rounded the corner. it took her long enough to get around the corner to find out where frankie had gone so it certainly would have been enough time for the husky to kill the puppy.
also, in regards to the tv crew helping, they’re there to film the people, not the animals. it appeared as though they stopped filming the dog when it rounded the corner, probably to focus on what chelsea was doing. so again, i think frankie was dead when chelsea and the crew got there. but i second everyone above who said the dumbass should have had her dog on a leash. that girl needs to learn some responsibility, sheesh.
See, my personal opinion (opinion!) is that it is Chelsea’s fault. Granted, it is an extremely sad situation and I would never wish that on anybody. But, she shouldn’t be so stupid and dimwitted to let her little puppy and other little dog out by themselves with no leash and no supervision. They make leash laws for a reason. The husky was tied up on his own property, so it’s not like it was roaming around looking for a fight. I had also heard that the husky had injured Frankie’s eye not long before this because Chelsea let her out without a leash again. You think she’d learn. No, I would not want Aubree around that husky, but I would hope Chelsea was at least smart enough not to let Aubree out of her sight to let that scenario happen. Who knows though.
Just my 2 cents.
Can’t wait for the full recap!
@melanie… you owe me a new mac pro laptop and diet coke, bc i spit up choking when i read that this wasn’t the first time they met up with the husky… i’ll be awaiting you gift.
http://teenmomtalk.com/chelsea-houskas-new-puppy-gets-attacked/
@Madelyne, oh man, I’m sorry about your laptop, I’ll try to fit a new one into my savings
What Melanie said. Dogs belong on leashes or in a fence 100% of the time. No exceptions. For their safety and for everyone else’s safety.
I had to post as my captcha was a quiz. Q: please pick — which one is a country? Choices: kitten, monster truck, Spain, puppy, cabbage
Who thinks Chelsea would have picked cabbage?
What a lot of people with little kids and or a puppy will do is have a fenced yard.
That way when either 1 runs out they can’t get around the corner to get killed by the neighbor’s big dog. Or out in the traffic.
Randy must not be that much smarter than Chelsea.
Chelsea knew that the dog was there and not so nice, so she shouldn’t have let Frankie wander by herself. She was being lazy, not putting him on a leash, and this is what happens when you don’t take the time to properly look out for your furbabies. I think losing her dog was punishment enough though. Hopefully she learns for next time.
But Randy was stupid as fuck, telling her to go retrieve Frankie’s body from the dog. Either stupid, or diabolically trying to rid himself of Chelsea for once and for all. Because huskydog would have torn Chelsea a brand new orange asshole, especially if he was still in kill-mode.
Chelsea is unfamiliar with the concept of learning her lesson for next time. Of course negligence was involved.
This probably says something about me as a person, but nothing I have seen on any teen mom has ever pissed me off more than this dog’s death. I had a strong urge to drive for two days, find Chelsea’s orange ass and beat her for being stupid. Then I would move onto Randy. Don’t coddle her; it was her fault! Her whole life Randy has let everything be someone else’s fault and look where that has gotten him. A daughter who took two years to pass the practice GED, who is too lazy to dress her own daughter, and ultimately too lazy to care about the life of the pets she chose to be responsible for. I tried to look up what happened to the dog prior to watching, because if it was bad I wasn’t going to watch. All I found was the story Melanie posted. She even had a warning this might happen and she still couldn’t be bothered to put a puppy on a leash. I secretly hope Chelsea gets attacked by a large dog one day. Well, I guess not so secretly.
I totally agree and blame that nitwit Chelsea – my dog got attacked in my yard by a neighbors malamute that got loose and I had to pry it’s jaws off my dogs throat. I didn’t even hesitate it was my only option to save my dogs life. Luckily he survived but just missed his trachea which would have been a completely different outcome. It cost my neighbor over $1,000.00 as well as fines from the town. This was the second dog he has attacked and everyday I fear of him getting loose and coming in my yard again. Anyway back to the poor dog Frankie this girl should not own any animal and I heard her mom (another piece of work) bought her another puppy to make her feel better. Unbelievable and @ amandalee27 totally agree with everything you said.
