Minicap: A-List New York

Hmm, Asshole de la semaine?  Reichen!  Reichen hears from Rodiney that the Jake/Austin household has not been quite as happy as Austin’s made it out to be.  Apparently there’s been cheatin’ hearts galore on both sides, and Reichen’s very, VERY upset.  All he can think about is all the crap Austin spewed about Reichen and Rodiney the previous summer and how Austin tried to sabotage the relationship – hypocrite, Reichen claims.  So what does Reichen decide to do?  Be a total fucking hypocrite himself and try to sabotage Austin’s relationship with Jake by confronting both men about the cheating.

Frankly, it appears as though the show decided that Austin’s in an unfaithful, abusive relationship.  Ryan gives Austin wedding advice, all the while interviewing that he’s never had any faith the two young men could ever make it.  Then, at a party, Austin tries to talk to Derek, but only manages to reveal that he has a split lip, from running into a cupboard.  Nyasha, Reichen, Rodiney, Derek, and Ryan all have a good laugh at Austin’s possible domestic abuse.  It’s really disgusting.

In other news, Nyasha tries to find a man, touches her hair a lot and says she’s not conceited no less than three times.  And Derek and Austin pretty much make up – the one bright spot in this hour.
