Before Sean leaves, Lindsay tells us that she has found her husband. I wonder if the other three women he’s dating know that Sean is Lindsay’s husband. He should probably bring that up to them.
And they’ve saved the previewed drama for the very end! Sean and Des are going hiking in LA. Yeah, when I think of LA, I think of hiking. Sean’s shorts are really pink. They don’t really talk about anything interesting. The say “sweet nothings” to one another and then kiss. It’s all pretty boring. Sean says that he’s happy Des brought him hiking in a canyon. I didn’t see any canyon anywhere. I saw a paved trailed. That’s not even real hiking.
After that short moment, they go back to Des’ house where she shows him her artwork. As they are making dinner, there is a knock at the door! Instead of Des’ family, it’s a guy. He immediately walks in and hugs her. Des is pretty shocked to see him. The random guy starts telling Des that he loves her and that they’ve been together for two years. Sean is feeling really awkward. The nameless man starts insulting Sean. Des tells Sean she has to tell him something…and it’s that this has all been a prank. She wanted to get him back for pranking her on their first date.
It was a bit weird that Des just introduced the “boyfriend” by saying, “This is Nick. He’s an actor.” Did the producers hire him for this prank? It just seems weird to say that. Why wouldn’t she have said something like, “This is my friend Nick!” Sean likes that Des can play a good prank. He makes him think she could be (wait for it) HIS BEST FRIEND (DRINK!!!!). The family arrives, they talk about Montana and the rest of their trips. Des’ mom thinks that she is glowing and is crazy in love. The night is going well, but Des isn’t quite sure what her brother Nate thinks. She knows he was skeptical. They sit down and talk and Des tells him that she has the strongest relationship with Sean. “Best friend” is thrown out a lot more (drink as much as you want). They argue without really saying much of anything.
