Oh, River, River, River. How much ridiculous can you fit into this last episode? We get the Tess making the worst choices ever (of course, should go without saying), resurrection with a Pet Cemetery level of success, and Lincoln becoming my favorite character ever! I’m a sucker for demons. Especially limber ones. Couldn’t he have stayed a bit longer?

The River will never let the Magus crew go, but alas, I’ll be giving it up after this last recap is complete.

While I write that last recap, please read last week’s episode as you wait. Are you happy, sad or just relieved this show has come to an end (or do you think it will get renewed in a last minute decision in May)?

CannedGinger is a techie by day, and TV binge watcher by night.  She can't resist most crap Bravo throws at the audience, and prefers Conan to Leno.  If you are one of her customers calling for support, she'll be listening to WTF on the iPod in one ear -- but you might not be able to tell.  She prefers cats to people most days, because they're more honest.  Bring on the worst TV you can imagine, and she will just enjoy it more since she grew up on a steady diet of MST3K and cheese.  Umm...nice stilton!

    This episode was all sorts of jacked up … not too bad though. Looking forward to your recap!

    Loved the extra limber Lincoln…that was very cool. Not sure how I feel about the whole ep yet. I was kind of pissed at the end…I need to let that wear off before I decide if I liked the whole thing or not :-\

    I loved this episode!! And we got some answers. Do we think it’ll get renewed for a second season, or is that why this is your last River recap, Canned?!?

    @plockeness – I don’t have much confidence this one will be renewed, just due to ratings. I’ll be tag-teaming Dancing with the Stars starting next week though!

    I agree with LdyJne114. I need to let this sink in before I can process the 8 episodes as a whole. If the ratings were a little better, I wouldn’t be worried about renewal. As it stands, this looks like a goner…as well as my other favorite new show Alcatraz.

    If it doesn’t get renewed how will I go on with my life??!! What does Jillian look like? Is she as hot as Lena? Will Lena and Lincoln ever do it? Did they get Jonas out of the ceiling vent? Does weird Spanish girl ever learn to speak English? What happens when the Magus runs out of gas? So many questions……..sigh….

    Yeah, I was also frustrated by the ending, especially the fact that the stupid Lena thing was never explained. And yeah everything I’ve seen has said it is due to be cancelled any day now, which sucks. Wa waaa.
