J-Wahl says he’s just like Lindsay Lohan

Jason Wahler from The Hills is out of “serious rehab” (serious jail-doding rehab, says he’s ready for a life without every touching another drop of booze, has a pretty new blonde girlfriend– and most important– relates to Lindsay Lohan.

Amid at least four arrests for booze- and violence-related and racially insensitive incidents in various states of the Union, the reality TV punk had been sentenced to a prison term that was supposed to begin last month. But his lawyers slipped him instead into the Chapman House rehab center in Orange County on April 12th, and now he’s claiming he’s all better.

And, conveniently, playing the amnesia card.

“I’m embarrassed as hell, but I really do not remember my arrests. They’re blackouts. And that’s scary.

“I relate to Lindsay (Lohan) because she’s the same age as I am. I’m only 20. And to say that I can’t drink ever again– even on my 21st birthday– is hard. But I don’t care, as long as I’m healthy and happy.”

J-Wahl claims it was always booze, not drugs, that got him going– and that he rarely had to use the fake ID he carried around. “Anyone who’s big in Hollywood who’s underage gets in (to clubs),” he tells People magazne. “I did try drugs, but it was never my thing. It was alcohol, for sure. It would take me about 10 drinks before that other side came out. It’s like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”

Of the rehab: “It’s exhausting, but after I started getting back to my senses, it was cool to get up in the morning and not be all hurting.”

People reports that ex-galpal (and Hills costar Lauren Conrad visited him in rehab– and he has a new sexy blonde girlfriend: teenage tennis player Katja Decker-Sadowski. We don’t know about her backhand, but she definitely has good taste in men.
