We love conspiracy theories here at TVgasm, and it looks like we’ve stumbled onto quite the juicy one. Here’s a picture of Wh-Wh-Wh-Whitney from The Hills hanging out with her college roommates. Nothing too scandalous about that, but just who is that girl behind the pixelation? Answer after the jump…

Why, it’s none other than Laguna Beach cast member Christina!

According to message boards (and those are always so reliable), Christina and Whitney are college roommates, which means that Whitney’s presence on The Hills may not be as random as previously expected. Furthermore, all those scenes of her peppering LC with questions about Laguna seem highly suspicious now (or more suspicious, I should say). So were there some behind-the-scenes shenanigans going on with the casting? Maybe. Maybe not. Some rumors suggest that Christina never even went to college, instead hoping to pursue a career in acting (suppressing laughter — memories of a certain Rent audition come to mind). Additionally, these photos don’t necessarily prove that Whitney and Christina are roommates, and they might not have been snapped prior to the taping of The Hills. Still, something smells fishy, and we promise to get to the bottom of it (assuming we don’t get lazy and do something else).

    SCANDALAMITY!!!

    I’m surprised Lisa Love would allow two not-necessarily-deserving interns into the Teen Vogue universe. But these people will do anything for a TV camera.

    I spot a clue!!
    In the first picture Wh-wh-wh-whitney is wearing a pair of shorts that she talked about in the overdrive after episode 9 (when hordan breaks up)… in the overdrive, lc and whitney go shopping at madison and the shorts are there and whitney says she just bought them. and lauren is wearing the purse that jason gave her for her birthday, so that picture had to be taken at least after lauren’s birthday, no??

    Whitney Port is a cast member from the MTV reality series The Hills. She is an intern at Teen Vogue magazine along with the show’s star, Lauren Conrad. Whitney is also student at the University of Southern California where she is a member of a sorority. Whitney is roommates with Christina Schuller from Laguna Beach.

    I could of sworn that Wh-Wh-Wh-WHITNEY was in some of the background shots during LG season 2…. maybe at that fundraiser thing or a graduation party or something.

    The Hills episodes were taped so long ago. Isn’t it possible that Whitney met Christina through Lauren or one of the events these reality folks go to? Maybe Christina has given up on her ludicrous ambition to be a star and enrolled in USC, which Whitney was already attending, and they decided to room. It’s a possibility, but I must admit the idea of SCANDAL is much better.

    I am a sophomore at USC..Christina definitely goes to USC..I’ve seen her at football games. But it all seems very scandalous

    I thought on one of the episodes from season 1 or 2 that Whitney said she lives at home with her parents and they went to her house and Lauren was in her room that sounds fishy if she really lives with Christina
