After putting up my recap for The OC from last week, TVgasm regular Smithie casually asked why I didn’t mention how Marissa’s nipple slipped out of her top on national television in the family hour prime time slot. The answer was easy. I never noticed that Mischa Barton’s nipple popped out on national television in the family hour prime time slot. Upon further inspection, yes indeed, there was Mischa Barton’s nipple coming out as she got out of bed, and there was Mischa, nonchalantly pulling the pajama top back up when she felt the cool breeze. The shot was so dark, it was hard to notice. I sent the video to the TVgasm forensics lab for enhancement, and what we got back was a very grainy yet very recognizable boob exposure.

Normally, such a small bit of flesh wouldn’t warrant any mention. Mischa Barton has let the girls peek out on a number of different occasions. But then again, this was in prime time with millions of people watching. One can only shudder to think what kind of fine this would have conjured up if people weren’t watching Survivor and Everybody Hates Chris.     I am shocked that this did not draw more attention. There were naked boobs on tv. Did Dennis Franz ruin everything!?!?!

    Shame, O.C, Shame. It is shocking. Mischa’s exposed nipple in the dark is really terrible.. Terrible because it wasn’t her whole boobs out in good light!

    Somebody is going to put up a big stink over just one little nipple and is going to try suing the network and anyone else they could possibly connect to the 1 or 2 frames of nipple on national TV.

    There are too many prudish Americans out there with sticks up their asses.

    Get a life! Nipples are wonderful. The more nipples the better i say! Chances are that your kids have already seen far more than you know!
