Nicole gets jail, just like Paris, only less

Nicole Richie once again played second fiddle to her The Simple Life costar and former BFF Paris Hilton, as she was sentenced today to serve 90 hours in jail for driving under the influence– on the wrong side of the freeway– in December.

The 25-year-old was sentenced to 96 hours, or four days in stir. But she got credit for the six hours she ‘s already served in jail. She’ll also be on probation for three years, and was fined $2,048.

Nicole entered the courtroom in Glendale, California, on the arm of her boyfriend, Good Charlotte band member Joel Madden, with his baby allegedly inside her little belly.Superior Court Commissioner Steven K. Lubell warned Nicole she’d go to jail for a year if she violates probation. He also ordered her to enroll in a second-offender drug and alcohol program and must prove that she completed it by February 20, 2008.
