Sarah Silverman feels bad about Paris jokes

Sarah Silverman says she regrets those ‘cell bars painted to look like penises’ jokes she made about Paris Hilton at the MTV Movie Awards.

Paris was in the audience with a camera in her face while Sarah went to town, and a few hours later began the first leg of her notorious jail stay.

Sez Sarah:“I thought, ‘She’s got to know there’s going to be a joke about her,’ so I went for it. But then I looked down and saw a man in her face with a camera. I was there to be funny and I was, but that doesn’t mean I can’t feel bad about it.”

Paris, who says she found God in jail, forgives:

“She’s a funny comedienne and hopefully she won’t be as mean the next time she sees me.”
