How can the bozos who run network news expect us to believe what they report when they lie so blatantly? NBC denies it’s agreed to pay $1 million for an interview with Paris Hilton, while at the same time ABC News admits it was willing to pay $100,000 for “production materials such as photographs or videos,” but lost out on the bidding. And now there’s word NBC may have dropped its plans for the interview, probably because of the scrutiny our reports and others have generated.

Or is it because of Ryan Seacrest? While the networks lie about the way they do business, the E! News anchorman is running the second part of his exclusive jailhouse phone interview with Paris tonight, and the folks at E! say with glee:

“The only cost incurred for this interview, during which Hilton laid out to Seacrest her plans for after her release and beyond, were the collect call charges.”

Paris lays out everything that Meredith Vieira would have had a million dollars riding on:Paris say that after she’s released, she wants to increase her charity work and build a “transitional home” to help her fellow inmates once their time is served: “a place to get food and clothes on their backs.” Paris reels off the stats that the women she’s penned in with return to jail an average of seven times.

“These women just keep coming back because they have no place to go. It’s a really bad cycle and if we stop it now, we can make our community a better place.”

But most of all, the celebutard says she’s excited about start a new life. “I appreciate everything now and I think there was a lot of bad people that I was around and I don’t want to surround myself with those types of people anymore.”

The interview runs tonight on E! News at 7pm and 1 pm ET/PT. Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Brian Williams– eat your hearts out!
