Shocker! Burns only #2 on Rich List

Forbes magazine has slipped in its annual list of the 15 Richest Characters, er, make that the 15 Richest Fictional Characters, and television comes up surprisingly short.

Montgomery Burns of The Simpsons, whom we’d always assume to be the richest man of all, only ranks second. Only three of the fifteen are exclusive to television– and Donald Trump doesn’t show up at all.

The list takes in characters from comic books, TV, movies, games, video games– and the Internet.

For the first time in 15 years, Santa Claus is not on the list. Forbes says that’s because of an outpouring of outrage from kids who insists that Santa is real.
